🌹Cause you were my "Star"🌹

You were an alluring song

A masterpiece unique only to me

Your tune, lull like lilies, calm as night, soothing , yet harsh sometimes,

like techno destroying my auditory nerves at times.

Like an African jazz, you drew me in.

Your whispers of ballads captured my soul,

sonnet gripping my heart firmly yet, with care,

taking me places filled with fresh scents of cherry blossoms.

Like a topaz-rose, a piece of a diamond, I cherished you,

Like a substance to be loved in secret, possessive, defending against any incoming threats,

creating a wall of comfort,

Peace,

joy.

Never slacking, never questioning

You are were my future,

As I look back ,the separation at the moment of vulnerability, left me discontented.

It's just my imagination,

It was all through a simple text.

I needed an explanation.

I needed a reason, Why!

Why!

You left me to suffer, just,

To wallow in my self pity,

To swim against the tides of this Pacific,

To crash, landing on this rough pavement with ragged edges, sharp as sword.

Bleeding, blood made of tears and sweat,

Dripping down,

Staining the clear solid earth.

Like a wave against the shore, I rolled back and crashed again all over, relentless

Back and forth, round and round.

Again and again,

Day and night.

What changed?

Understanding is beyond me,

You were changing and I was busy

Pondering, paying attention

Yet,

Not understanding

Breaking, silently

Yet,

Hiding it

Asking quietly,

In my mind,

I whispered. "Why!"

Hurting ferociously

I held my chest with both hands,

My heart pounding unforgiving...

Until...

You broke me completely.

Your decision, not mine.

I saw red,

Then, I saw black.

When I closed my eyes all I felt was a menacing anger, represented by a blinding black fold

Reminding me of a hollow made deep in my heart, invaded by you.

Punctured by your daggered words, the same I found alluring.

The same that floated in my ears engulfing me, sending me to paradise.

Also, the same that's reminding me that, not everything stays forever.

No more ballads.

No more cherry blossoms scents.

No more warmth in a cold day.

No more promises.

Definitely, no more you.

You were my star in the dark sky

A big Dipper,

I looked up to you, wishing upon you.

Now,

You are a speck of dust, swept away.

Vanishing completely.

Never to be remembered.
