Sophie
————

Sophie woke up to a blank spot beside her where Fred had once been when they fell sleep. A small note was placed on the pillow.

Gone to meet George for Quidditch practice. See you at breakfast.

The note had small hearts drawn around the perimeter. Sophie smiled to herself and lay on her back for a moment clutching the small piece of paper. Even though she felt guilty about Fred agreeing to stop seeing Angelina, she couldn't help feel relieved. That was their only fight they had ever had. With Angelina out of the picture, they could finally start planning their lives together outside of Hogwarts.

Sophie opened the curtains around her bed to find Cho had already left the dorm for breakfast. Sophie quickly climbed out of bed and began putting on a large sweater and some dark blue jeans. There was a quidditch match after breakfast and Sophie wanted to dress warmly for the occasion. The game was Gryffindor against Hufflepuff.

After slipping on her trainers and throwing on a raincoat, Sophie grabbed her wand and headed for the Great Hall. Game day breakfasts were always enormous even though the Quidditch players were always too nervous to eat. Once she arrived at the Great Hall she heard a voice calling from the Gryffindor table.

"Sophie! Come sit with us!" Ginny Weasley yelled across the hall.

Sophie began to head towards the table. Ginny lightly patted the seat beside her and waited for Sophie to sit. Ginny was sitting at the table with Hermione, Ron, Neville, and Luna.

"Good morning." Sophie said to the group as she swung her legs over the bench to sit. The group gave various noises of acknowledgment as they continued to eat their breakfasts.

"How are you?" Ginny asked while pushing a plate towards Sophie. "You should try the scones. They're to die for!"

Sophie grabbed a scone and carefully placed it on her plate. "I'm good. How are you?" Sophie replied feeling especially cheerful.

"Brilliant! I'm looking forward to the game. I just know we're going to crush it!" Ginny made a fist and waved it. Sophie giggled as she took a large bite of scone. "Oh. I also wanted to say that I heard what Fred did. If you ask me, he's a git for even hanging out with Angelina in the first place." Ginny placed a reassuring hand on Sophie's shoulder and gave a soft smile.

News travels fast

"Thanks Ginny, but I think everything is figured out now. We'll be okay." Sophie smiled back and took another large bite.

A group of students walked into the Great Hall covered in Crimson and Gold uniforms. The Gryffindor Quidditch team finally arrived to eat their breakfast.

Fred and George strutted across the Great Hall and took their seats at the Gryffindor table.

"Morning love." Fred smiled sweetly and kissed Sophie on the cheek.

"How was practice?" Sophie asked placing a scone on Fred's plate.

"Tiring honestly, but worth it if it means we crush Hufflepuff today."

"I have no doubt that you will." Sophie squeezed Fred's hand.

"We should go get seats now before all the good ones are gone." Ginny said grabbing Sophie's hand, and pulling her up from the table, away from Fred.

"Ladies and gentlemen, my little sister. The girl who always ruins the moment." Fred said raising his glass of pumpkin juice and winking.

"Oh shut it." Ginny said pulling Sophie's arm.
