Theo sat in potions waiting for class to start. Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle entered the classroom and Draco rolled his eyes as he separated from them and took a seat next to Theo.

"Are they extra bloody annoying this year?" Draco asked Theo.

Theo gave a short smile. "They've always been annoying."

"It's definitely worse." Draco mumbled. Theo didn't look at him and remained quiet.

Draco eyed him suspiciously. "What's got your wand in a knot?"

"Nothing." Theo replied quickly still avoiding Draco's eyes. He felt extremely awkward now that he knew Draco's true feelings towards Sophie. Draco had been his best mate since they were kids, of course he wanted him to fancy a girl like Sophie. A girl who would keep him in line. He wanted his best mate to be happy, but he also didn't want Sophie to get hurt.

"If you say so." Draco adjusted in his seat and pulled out his potions book.

"Open your books to page 235." Snape spoke sharply at the head of the room.

"Sure you're alright mate?" Draco asked Theo as he flipped through his book.

Theo looked at Draco for a second, then opened his mouth to speak.

Snape slammed a book down in front of the two boys and eyed them. They both fell silent and continued the rest of class, eyes glued to the front of the room. Once class finished the two boys exited the room.

"Well, what is it?" Draco asked Theo. Once again Theo opened his mouth to speak but was cut off.

"Draco!" Pansy jumped up and smashed her lips against Draco's. He shoved her off and used his sleeve to wipe off the wet kiss. Pansy lowered her eyes.

"Parkinson." Theo nodded and smiled at her. "See ya later mate." Theo waved to Draco and walked down the corridor.

Draco sighed and began walking to his next class as Pansy followed like a puppy.

"I was thinking after class today you could help me study?" Pansy asked fluttering her lashes.

"No." Draco answered bluntly.

Pansy scoffed. "Why not?" She said annoyed.

"I don't want to." Draco glared at her.

"What is your problem?" Pansy snapped.

"You." Draco paused. "You are my problem." Draco began to walk away from Pansy. She grabbed his arm to stop him. He turned and looked at the grip she had on his arm in disgust. He snagged his arm away.

"You kissed me Draco. You came onto me." Pansy folded her arms. "You say I'm embarrassing for throwing myself at you, but then you kiss me in front of everyone. Well what is it?"

Draco clenched his jaw. "You're an easy shag. That's all."

Pansy scoffed. "Fuck you." She felt tears prickle at her eyes and ran the other direction, looking for the closest bathroom.

Draco let out a long sigh and bit his lip. He stood silent for a moment before finally heading to his next class. He walked along the empty corridors with his bag over his shoulder, not eager to get to class. He turned the corner and found Sophie walking in his direction down the corridor. He froze momentarily, then continued walking. He couldn't stop himself from truly looking at her. He wanted to lose his fingers in her long silky hair, smash his lips against her full pink lips, rip off the school robes she was......

Draco shook his head and pushed the thought out of his mind.

What is wrong with me?

He hated Sophie for making him think he fancied her. It had to be some sort of trick. Once they were a few feet away they locked eyes. Both of the teenagers stopped in their tracks. Draco felt his heart begin to pick up its pace as they stared at each other. Sophie watched Draco, waiting for him to speak. She looked around the corridor to make sure they were alone.
