"It's terrible isn't it?" Fred spoke into his hands covering his face.

"No it's not terrible." Sophie spoke holding his Defense Against the Dark Arts essay.

Fred moved his hand slightly to look at Sophie with one eye through his fingers. "Really?" He asked.

"Really." Sophie smiled at him. "Just needs some fine tuning." She placed the essay on the table and began writing in the margins.

Fred watched her, observing all of her features. "What are you doing tomorrow night?"

Sophie didn't look up, but continued writing. "Uh. Not sure. Why?"

Fred continued to watch her. "There's a Quidditch game tomorrow."

"Oh yeah. I heard. Gryffindor vs Slytherin right?" She still didn't look up.

"Exactly right." Fred smiled at her even though she was focused on his paper. "Are you going?"

"Uhh maybe. If Cho is going I probably will."

"There's a party in the Gryffindor common room after. We're either going to celebrate winning or losing." Fred placed his chin in his hand to support his head.

"Sounds fun. Don't get too carried away."

"Sophie." Fred spoke.

"Yes?" Sophie replied still writing on his paper.

"Sophie." Fred placed his hand on hers to stop her from writing. She looked at him. "Would you come to the party?" Fred asked.

"Oh." Sophie pulled her hand away and placed it in her lap. "I don't know. I wanted to study."

"Please come. Everyone misses you."

"Maybe. I'll think about it." Sophie replied dismissively

"Sophie please." Fred looked at her.

She thought for a second and realized he would keep asking. "Can I bring someone?"

Fred's eyes lit up. "Of course!" He started gathering his belongings. "I've gotta run, but I'll see you at the party tomorrow!" Fred left the library.

Now Sophie needed to figure out how to convince someone to come to the party. She had been spending time with Fred to distract herself from Draco. How could she act normally after he confessed he misses her? She needed to think about anything else.

She glanced at her watch and realized she was supposed to meet everyone at the pier. She grabbed her bag and headed for the front entrance of the castle. She walked along the grass until she could see three figures sitting at the pier.

"You're late." Theo teased.

"Lost track of time. Sorry guys." Sophie set her bag down and sat with them.

"We're only a couple weeks into the semester and I already have no desire to do my homework." Theo said as he threw a rock into the lake.

"You've never had any desire to do homework." Bronson replied.

"Shit. You're right." Theo laughed.

Sophie rolled her eyes. "Are you guys going to the Quidditch game tomorrow?"

"Fuck yes. Uh hello? Slytherin is playing." Theo said with his eyebrows raised.

"I thought you hated everyone in your house." Sophie replied.

"I still have house pride."

"Whatever. What about you guys?" Sophie turned to Bronson and Cho.

"Yeah, a few girls from my house want to go so I said I'd tag along." Bronson replied.
