Martial Artists vs Assassins! Part 1

As Goku and Krillin made their slow return, the Night Raid HQ got attacked, they however, managed to easily fend it off and during the battle Tatsumi learned an important lesson in assassination, afterwards, Tatsumi got assigned to a mission (Shopping, mostly) with Mine, while he didn't outright enjoy it, he at least managed to get to know her better as she told him about her past, Tatsumi and the Night Raid also went in a mission to kill one of the Prime Minister's relative, where Tatsumi and Mine saved each other lives, further increasing their bond, on another hand, Goku and Krillin were taking quite some time to return, since they only managed to get to their destination so fast due to their flying, however, now that they had to restrain their Ki the trip became a lot slower "Hey Krillin, are we close yet?" Goku asked, for the 5000th time "Yeah Goku, I already told you that 10 times!" Krillin said a bit annoyed "Sorry Krillin, I'm just kinda bored, if we only had the flying Nimbus we would already be there!" Krillin was about to answer Goku when he finally sighted the HQ "Look Goku! We're here, we're finally back!" Goku jumped in excitement, after a long time of boring walking and more walking, they were finally back "Yuhuuu!" He shouted, and as soon as they entered Night Raid's territory, Lubbock appeared out of the woods "Goku, Krillin, welcome back! Najenda is waiting for the mission report from both of you" after hearing that, the two Martial Artists made their way to the main hall where Najenda was waiting for them "I'm glad to see the two of you have returned, pretty fast too, well then, what did you two find out?" Goku and Krillin relaxed looks suddenly became much more serious as they looked at each other with concern, and after a brief moment, Goku finally spoke up "You should be extremely careful with that, and stay as alert as possible about that place, whoever did that, it's extremely dangerous" Najenda listened carefully, a mix of confusion and worry on her face, on one hand, those two extremely powerful martial artists are worried about something, and on another hand, they didn't exactly tell what, or who, was worrying them "Well, what exactly is so dangerous?" she finally asked, Krillin looked a bit distressed now, while Goku simply kept the serious look and continued talking "We can't exactly know who came with it, but we definitely recognize what was there, we saw it before... they are metallic spheres that we call 'pods', similar to vehicles" Najenda was still confused with this talk, 'pods'? metallic spheres? What was that all about? "Look" Najenda started "I understand that you may not want to share your past with me, but I need you to be more clear, or I won't be able to understand the situation properly" Goku looked down thinking for a moment, he couldn't say they weren't from here, and he most definitely shouldn't mention anything about the Saiyans, at least not for now "Listen, me and Krillin, we fought some really strong and evil opponents not so long ago and out of all the 7 Martial Artists that took part in the fight, only me, Krillin and my son survived, mind you, it was a 7 vs 2, and they both came in this same vehicle, the pods" Goku answered with a very serious face, this time, Najenda had finally understood the seriousness of the situation, Goku and Krillin were simply amazing in terms of power, and if 7 of them was necessary to fight 2 of those people that came from those 'pods', then this was some very big trouble, after consulting her thoughts one last time she finally nodded and was about to reply, however Krillin started interrupted her, talking first "It's probably worth noting that, if they are indeed the same guys we fought before, they may have a strange device that can track people based on their power and also serve as a communicator, I don't know how effective it will be here in the Capital where there are plenty of people, but you should remember that" Najenda was surprised and even more concerned with this information, if they could use such device that can track and communicate, then they would definitely be able to find the Night Raid's base and hunt them down, even more concerning was their strength, Goku was at the moment the strongest member of the Night Raid, however, if those mysterious enemies were even stronger than him the Revolution could suffer a major blow "Tell me, you two, do you think those enemies are allied to the empire in some way?" Goku shook his head "No, I don't think so, but..." Goku thought for a moment, if him and Krillin joined forces with the Night Raid, why couldn't their enemies do so as well? "So...?" Najenda said, anxiously waiting for Goku's answer "It may be possible for them to join forces, after all, if me and Krillin ended up joining the Revolution, nothing stops them from joining the Empire, right?" Najenda sighted as she was a bit relieved with that, no news are good news and if they're not originally with the Empire, then the chance for them to join it now wouldn't be very high, regardless, having powerhouses running around the countryside would still be bad, she pondered, looking at her metallic arm "Well, I'll send the report to the Revolutionary Army, and decide about what we do later" Goku and Krillin nodded, leaving the room.

As Krillin headed to his room to get some rest after this shocking discovery, Goku placed his hand on Krillin's shoulder "Krillin, I think I'll give those guys some proper training, if the Saiyan's or some aliens really are here, then this guys won't stand a chance" Krillin looked back, giving a small smile to his childhood friend "Well, then we better hurry and teach them something right?" Goku and Krillin grabbed each other's arm, they were ready for it, they would help those guys, defeat whoever the invaders may be and find a way to get to Namek.

Tatsumi was training with Bulat, his big bro "Haaaaa!" Tatsumi shouted as he charged towards Bulat, he slashed his wooden sword swiftly, but despite the impressive move Bulat blocked it with ease, counterattacking with a direct trust, try as he might Tatsumi's best efforts were in vain, he didn't manage to block the attack in time and was thrown backwards, crashing against the ground "Woah, that was very good Tatsumi, your getting better" Krillin exclaimed, surprising Tatsumi "Krillin! You're back" Tatsumi said quickly standing up "Hey, I'm back too!" Goku said waving his hand, with the classic Goku smile "And I must say, you're really trying to get stronger huh?" Goku completed, giving Tatsumi a thumbs up "Yeah... but I still have a lot to learn" Tatsumi answered looking a bit down, he was still upset about his friends death "Well, consider yourself lucky! Me and Goku here are willing to teach you some of our techniques" our baldie said in a cheerful tone, much to the joy of Tatsumi"Really!?" Not only Tatsumi, but Akame and Bulat were interested too, they recognized that Goku and Krillin were way stronger than them "Hey! Can I join in too? I certainly could use some help!" Bulat asked with Akame by his side indicating that she wanted some help too "Sure! The more the merrier!" Goku said "Now, before anything, why don't we all have a small sparing match? We need to know how skilled the three of you are" Goku explained, Tatsumi, despite tired, seemed enthusiastic about the idea of fighting the duo "Alright! Bring it on! Who am I fighting?" Krillin raised his hand with a defying look on his face "You're going against me, you better get ready" Krillin grinned, to which Tatsumi answered with his own grin but before they could start, Akame interrupted "And who am I fighting?" Goku smiled and pointed to himself "You and Bulat are fighting me, together" Bulat raised an eyebrow "Don't you think you're underestimating us? You might regret this" Akame agreed and completed "I know you're strong, but you never saw us fighting seriously, you're underestimating us" Goku continued smiling and insisted that he could take them on "Don't you worry, I'm sure this won't be a problem, you two can come full force against me, no worries" but before they could proceed, Krillin exclaimed "Alright, alright, you three can fight as soon as I kick Tatsumi's butt, just hold on a second" Tatsumi grinned and barked the provocation back "As if that would ever happen, just come and I'll knock some sense into your head!"

The fight between the Assassins and the Martial Artists is about to begin, how will the Night Raid compare to this otherworldly sparring partners? And who are those mysterious strangers that arrived in the pods?
