Chapter 12

Jack sat in the classroom, folding origami. His minded kept heading back to Crews disappearance. He had heard any news since then, so his mind began spinning in circles. It came to the point where he couldn't do it's anymore.

Suddenly he jumped from his seat as he heard the third period bell ring. He darted to his locker, stuffing everything into the cramped situation.

"Woah, why are you in such a hurry?" Drista asked, noticing his change in behavior. "Why are you so off?"

"It's just- Crews missing, Ok? I want to go back and search." Jack picked up his empty backpack and began heading out the door.

"Well, you can't just leave." Drista cautioned, standing in the hallway. "I'll go with." She spoke, slamming he locker.

"Go with? Where are y'all going? You guys realize we still have four more hours of school." Charlotte sassed, standing behind Drista.

"Crew is missing. We can't just leave him, he is our friend after all." Drista said, aiding Jack on his retrieval mission. She hopped right next to him and put on her hood.

"You guys are dead if mom finds out. Especially Jack. She'll think Drista is a bad influence." Charlotte wagged her finger.

"She won't find out. Neither will the school. We can just persuade Hannah to tell the teacher we're in the bathroom." Jack said, walking to the door in a rush.

"You think she's gonna believe that?"

"Of course. They're not gonna take notes on whose gone and whose not. They want to get paid. They don't care 'bout there job." Jack notified, opening the door for Drista to exit the building.

"Yeah ok but- Jack what if you say is wrong?" Charlotte desperately needed to go, so it was now or never.

"It won't Charlotte. Its for a good cause. Now are you coming." Charlotte looked at Jack, looked at her friends and sighed, heading for the door.

"Charlotte where are you going?" Hannah asked.

"To find Crew." Spoke Charlotte, leaving.

"Ew." Hannah sassed, leaving to her next class.
