Ms. Kim arrived at the sheriffs office, along with Cambrie and Cayleigh. Her heart was racing, signs of anxiety ran over her. Millions of questions passed her head every second. She felt her mind becoming just a fluid, repetitively thinking about her son. It has no substance.
She got out of her car and entered the building, watching every corner. She spotted officer Vikk.
"Vikk? Vikk?" She called.
"Oh yeah, can't you see I'm eating." He said, crunching on a donut, and holding it down with a hot cup of joe.
"We need to talk. Now." She slammed the desk angrily, not facing his bullshit.
"What's wrong, Kim?" He said, standing up and following her to his desk.
"It's- it's my son. He's missing. I've searched every damn place in my house and he's not there. His friends said he slept inside, I wonder-"
"He's fine Kim, it's a small town. No ones gonna get abducted any time soon. He probably ran away." Vikkstar ignored he warning, noting her as paranoid and crazy.
"Vikk- I know him. He's my son for god sakes. He wouldn't run away, he's -he's a bit of a nerd, ya know? Like queer I guess." Kim warned, shaking her head.
"Ugh, lets just make this quick." He swiftly filed a report through a form, just for the sake of finishing up his part on the case.
"Vikk- you- you don't know how much this means to me thank you so much." She relieved. Her heart poured over him with affection.
"Now, please get out. I've already had to deal with another crazy the weak- he said something about zombies or some shit like that." He complained, looking up at the ceiling.
"What's his phone address?" She asked sternly.
"You mean phone number?" He asked, staring back down at her.
"Yes, just what's his number, Vikk?" She asked, as he pulled out a large thick pile of sticky notes which he quickly jotted upon and gave them to her.
"Get out now. I've got some rowdy teens to deal with. Always spray painting and stuff." He complained, grabbing his hat and walking out the door.
"Cya Vikk." She thanked, passing by the office and out the door to her car. Even though he wasn't back at the home, this is all they could do.
