Chapter 14

"Here we are." Jack motioned his hand to the large suburban house out front of him. They all welcomed themselves inside, 'borrowing' jackets and gloves and all needed utensils to go digging for there friend.

They emerged out the back door, stepping out on the cold. The wind whipped against them, and it was as clear as day that it was snowing.

"Okay, so the plan is, me and Drista will hunt for him on the left, you hunt on the right." Jack spoke, excited to spend time with Drista.

"Was this all a fake-out just to get you and me alone?" Drista asked, hurrying her hands in her pocket.

"Not exactly." He spoke, twisting his hand to gesture that it wasn't fully his intention. "At least we're saving our friend."

"I can see right through you, Jack London Snow." She snickered by how stupid his name sounded, and he gave her a kick.

"No, I'm serious. Dead serious. I wanna find Crew." He said, blushing red. He got punched in the shoulder by her.

"Whatever dude, I know what your here for." They all laughed, when it suddenly grew quiet.

"Do you- do you really think that Crew is lost?" He said, stopping in the middle of a winters forest, as the wind whipped them with small snowflakes of ice.

"I- No. He's fine. He's probably somewhere like, just ran away or something." She said, brushing the front of his hair then pulling away. "Jerk." They burst out in laughter again, falling in the snow and making imprints. They looked at each other, laying on the ground.

Suddenly they heard screaming. It was Charlotte, at the top of her lungs, screaming. They both got up, dusted off the ice and began running. As fast as they possibly could, picking up speed. Finally, they spotted her, face down on the snow, and you would never guess who was on top. Lani, Tubbo's lost sister.
