Y/N Riddle and The Marauders

Chapter 12

"Has Lucius gone yet?" Y/N asked Sirius lifting her head up. She could hear James, Regulus, and Remus opening and closing drawers.
"Yeah Y/N. He's gone," Sirius told her looking at her. They just smiled at each other when they both saw Remus putting her clothes in a trunk.
"What are you doing?" Y/N asked confused with her head on Sirius' shoulder.
"Packing your stuff up," Remus told her putting one of her jumpers in the trunk.
"Okay, then why," She said getting up and walking towards the bathroom.
"We don't like the fact that you and Narcissa share a room and that Lucius can come in here whenever he likes. So we thought it would be safer if you... move," Regulus told Y/N
"Move where? Exactly," She asked whilst washing her face. All four boys just looked at each other when James spoke.
"You can stay with us. I'm sure Lils and Mary won't mind," he told everyone.
"What about McGonagall? She won't let me stay with you guys given I'm a Slytherin," Y/N said drying her face.
"Yeah stay with us. We can get around McGonagall," Sirius told her while turning to look at her. With all the boys looking at her she felt as though she had to say yes.
"Okay fine. Let's see what will happen," She replied looking at all the boys smiling.

The bell had rung for Lunch. Y/N and the boys had gone to lunch together. When they entered Y/N saw Lucius talking to Narcissa acting as if nothing had happened. Lucius caught her eye and smiled as if he was proud of what he had done. Y/N had stopped walking at looked as if she was going to cry again when she felt someone's hand slid into hers. Instantly she looked up and saw Sirius.
"Sit with us, nobody will question it," He told her.
Y/N had smiled at him," Okay. It's just I would feel out of place," she told him as they walked over to the Gryffindor table. Once Y/N had sat down she felt eyes set on her. "See I told you," she whispered to Sirius.
"Don't worry," he laughed.
"Hi," Mary said to Y/N holding her hand out, " I'm Mary," she told her smiling.
"Nice to meet you," Y/N told her shaking her hand, " I'm Y/N," she said smiling back.
"See told you nobody question it," Sirius nudged her smiling.
"Okay, okay you were right," she laughed nudging him back.
"Okay, so Lily we were thinking if Y/N could stay in your dorm seeming you have a spare bed?" Remus asked Lily while putting in a piece of chicken in his plate.
"Yeah that would be amazing I'd love to have Y/N as a roommate," Lily answered Remus whilst pouring herself some pumpkin juice.
"Thanks, Lily but what about McGonagall who's gonna ask her?" Y/N asked them all.
"I'm sure James can get through to her. Can't you Jamie?" Peter asked James
"James? How can he talk to her," Y/N asked.
"Don't worry about that. Anyways eat something Y/N all you had was a slice of toast in the morning. James told her putting a sandwich into her plate.

"Y/N! Quidditch practise come on," Regulus came up to her after the Slytherin team had finished eating. Lucius was there with the team. Y/N had looked at James and Sirius and had told her it would be fine.
"Coming," Y/N told them, "Speak to her please," she said to James while walking away with Regulus.
"I will trust me," James called after her.

"Okay guys we are going to train longer and harder if we want to win this season," Regulus told the team once they were all changed, "One more thing Y/N is becoming co-captain with me." Y/N just looked at Regulus in shock whilst everyone else was talking about the news.

"You can't make HER co-captain, SHE'S FRIENDS WITH GRYFFINDOR'S!" Lucius shouted
"Shut up Malfoy she's the best player we have AND she's our seeker. It makes sense to have her as a captain," Regulus told the team.
"So what if I'm friends with Gryffindor's nobody can tell me what I can and can't do," Y/N stood up and told Lucius, "And Regulus I will take the role of co-captain." When she said that she turned around and smiled at Lucius.
"Okay, then let's get to practise," Regulus said heading outside on his broom.

While they were practising, Lucius kept following Y/N around even though there were no buldgers.
"Expelliarmus," Y/N had muttered under her breath and then flicked her wrist to Lucius. His broom had fallen down along with his wand unfortunately he had managed to gain control over his broom.
"Y/N did you do that?" Regulus flew next to Y/N and asked.
"Yes I did, he kept following me. Making me feel uncomfortable," Y/N told him

Lily and Mary had come in the stands to watch Y/N. When they walked in they saw Lucius' broom fall and Y/N's wrist flick.
"Did she just do a spell without a wand?!" Mary asked Lily.
"Yes she did. I still don't understand how though," Lily told her trying to catch Y/N's attention.
"Regulus look," Y/N had noticed them and nodded in their direction.
Regulus nodded at her and then looked at Lily and Mary. "Okay, guys practise over same again tomorrow." Y/N and Regulus flew straight to the stands to see what they wanted.
"Hey, guys what's up?" Y/N asked as she set her broom down.
"James spoke to Professor McGonagall she said it's fine if you stayed with us for a while," Mary told her. Y/N had smiled when they saw Lucius coming towards them.
"What does he want now," Y/N said to all three.
"He won't do anything. Not with us here," Regulus told her.
"We won't let him," Lily said to her.
"Why are you being so kind to me I mean we barely know each other. Same with the boys," Y/N asked them.

Lucius had come up to them. "I know it was you that made me fall of the broom," he told her taking hold of her wrist.
"You. Have. No. Proof," She said taking her wrist out of his grip, "Leave me alone Lucius. I want nothing to do with you or else I will do a spell on you." Lucius had taken a look at everyone then walked away.
"Okay so if McGonagall said yes then how am I going to put all my stuff in there within a few hours?" Y/N asked
"The boys have already started on that," Mary and Lily told her.
"You didn't answer my question. Why are you all being so kind to me?" Y/N asked as all four began to walk out of the stands.
"It's what we do. We wanted to get to know you and now we have," Lily told her.
"It's what good friends do," Mary added.

In the distance they could see an owl carrying a letter.
"Isn't it late for letters?" Regulus asked. The owl had came up to them and dropped the letter on the floor.
"Who's it for?" Lily asked.
Mary picked up the letter and read the front off. "T.M.R who is that?"
"Tom Marvolo Riddle," Y/N said straight away.
