Y/N Riddle and The Marauders

Chapter 33

Y/N headed outside towards the bridge and stared out at the lake.
"Y/N! Dinners ready!" Celeste called out to her.
"Coming!" Y/N went inside and into the dining room.
"Sister sit down," Tom told her.
"Sister now is it?"
"Not now. Not at the dinner table," Tom said. Celeste entered the dinning room with a wine glass.
"I thought she stopped drinking?" Y/N asked.
"She won't listen to anyone," Tom answered.
"Mum please put the glass down," Lucius said to his mother.
"It's just a bit of fire whiskey nothing bad," Celeste told him.
"Remember last time you said that? Please Celeste don't drink," Y/N begged. Celeste took a swig out of the glass before setting down on the table.
"What's there to eat?" Celeste asked.
"Steak and Kidney pie, Shepherds pie, Cornish pastries with treacle tarts and rock cakes for afters," The maid told them all as the food was bought in.
"So Y/N, Lucius how is school," Celeste asked as she put in her food. The two fourth years glanced at eachother from across the table.
"Everything's fine," they both said.
"You sure?" Tom asked.
"Yes we're sure now please I would like to go to my room," Y/N excused herself.
She ran up the stairs and into her room. Y/N unpacked her suitcase and took out the Gryffindor robe from behind the wardrobe.
"God I would rather be with you than here in the middle of nowhere," Y/N whispered into the robe.

Back at the Noble House of Black, Regulus and Sirius had just gotten home.
"Boys," Their mother Walburga said.
"Mother, Father," Sirius said as Regulus stood behind him.
"How was school?" Orion, their father asked.
"Fine. Please can we go to our rooms," Regulus asked.
"Yes go upstairs, Sirius why aren't you wearing a robe?" Walburga asked.
"I left it at school," he lied. The brothers went up the stairs to their rooms.

Sirius entered his room and put his case on his bed.
"Sirius?" Drom walked into his room.
"Hiya," Sirius said to her.
"You and Y/N? Are you an item or?"
"Crap, no we're just friends," He lied,
"You like her don't you?"
"Yeah. Is it obvious?"
"No it isn't, I'm your cousin I have my own information."
"Yeah well she's stuck with Malfoy." When Sirius said this Drom let out a laugh.
"Sucks for her she hates him."
"Yeah I know."

Back at the Malfoy manor, Y/N had changed into her grey joggers with a black shirt and the robe around her. She was sat down on her desk writing a letter to Sirius.

Merlin I didn't realise how lucky I was to get into Hogwarts until now. Tom saw me today tried to get me to forgive but I don't know, I mean he killed our mother and then tries to control me. Look at me I used to love being hone but now I hate it.
By the way I have your robe with me. Probably the only way I'm gonna survive this break. How is it? Back home. I'm guessing your back now anyways.

"Y/N it's me," Lucius put his head through the door.
"Get out!" Now!" Y/N shouted.
"If I were you I would take that off," He advised.
"Leave me alone you blonde cabbage," she said to him.
Lucius chuckled, " You haven't called me that since first year?"
"Why doesn't anyone change? I mean Celeste knows what the fire whiskey does to her yet she doesn't care," Y/N asked.
"Mum says it takes the edge off and dad not being gone doesn't help."
"You have no idea do you?"
"What are- Y/N what?"
"My mum was murdered and my dad left."
"Shit Y/N when did you find out?"
"Doesn't matter. Please leave and tell everyone not to come into my room." Lucius nodded his head and left.

A few weeks had gone past and it was now Christmas Eve.
"Y/N! Come inside it's cold out," Celeste called out to her. Y/N was sitting in the clearing of the forest with a bundle of parchment next to her.
"Just a minuet!" Y/N hid the parchment letter and picked up her pot of ink.
"Merry Christmas Eve!" Tom told Y/N as she walked inside.
"Same back to you," she told her brother effortlessly. Y/N trudged up the stairs up to her bedroom as usual.

"LUCIUS! GET HERE!" Tom shouted.
"Tom? What is it?" Lucius asked as he came up to Tom.
"Y/N, what's going on with her?"
"I don't know." Tom immediately went upstairs and opened the door. On the bed was a letter to Sirius and besides it was a red robe.
"What are you doing in here?" Y/N asked warily as she came out of her bathroom.
"Red Hogwarts robe equals Gryffindor and the only Gryffindor I know that you are very very close with is that traitor Black."
"So what if it is his? What exactly are you going to do? Christmas is tomorrow don't want to ruin that would you."

The next day Y/N woke up to arguing downstairs. She slipped on her green robe and put in her slippers on. Y/N and Lucius both walked out of their rooms at the same time and looked downstairs from the third floor. Celeste had a glass of wine in her hand and Thomas was shouting at her.
"THEY ARE CHILDREN AND ARE WORRIED ABOUT YOU!" Tom argued.
"AND YOU ARE LIVING IN MY HOUSE! I WILL LIVE MY OWN LIFESTYLE!" Celeste slurred.
"FOR FUCK SAKE CELESTE IT IS 7 AM AND YOU ARE ALREADY DRUNK!" Tom shouted at her. He looked up and saw Y/N and Lucius looking down at them.
"Shit Y/N," He told himself. Celeste looked up and raised her glass to them.
"Expelliarmus," Y/N stared at the glass until the red wine was spilt all over the floor.
"Y/N YOU LITTLE BASTARD!" Celeste screamed at her. Before she could say anything else the oldest Riddle intervened.
"You say one more bad word against my sister and the next thing that will be spilt is your blood," He told the blonde woman. Y/N went back to her room with Tom running up the stairs to get to her.

"Y/N can I come in?" He knocked on the closed door.
"Yeah come in," Y/N shoved the Hogwarts robe under her pillow. Thomas came in and instantly hugged his younger sister.
"Why is it that we can never have a normal life or family?" Y/N asked.
"We're Riddle's nothing easy ever happens for us," Thomas replied.
"Yesterday I said that you would ruin today but I was wrong."
"Hey, rule number one of being a Riddle: never admit you are wrong," He laughed. Y/N chuckled.
"Me and Sirius are just friends you do know that don't you?"
"I'll take your word for it little sister."

the Christmas chapter and
then I will start on the second book
of this series!
