Y/N Riddle and The Marauders

Chapter 21

As Sirius lay awake with the dim, purple-lit sky above him, he looked over to his side and saw Y/N laying on his arm peacefully, asleep. He smiled as he saw her and turned over to his side so that he's now facing the sleeping girl. While she lay asleep sleeping Sirius ran his hands softly through her dark-brown, tangled hair.
"Were you watching me sleep?" She asked him sleepily turning around to face him.
"Maybe I was. Maybe I wasn't. What may the queen of evilness do to me, can I ask?" Sirius replied to her mockingly.
"Hey!" She playful pushed him laughing. Y/N looked at him for a minute and then got up and pointed her wand towards Sirius, " I will curse you of course," she laughed.
"No you won't Riddle," Sirius got up and chased her. The two chased each other around the courtyard, laughing and pretending to cast spells on one another.
"AHHHH NOOOOOOO Y/N! YYYY/NNNNNN!" Sirius squealed as she corned him.
"So dramatic. For what reason?" She laughed pointing her wand towards him. The pair of them heard footsteps heading their way. Sirius pulled Y/N closer to him as they both crouched down.
"Who's that?" Y/N whispered.
"Shush wait they're still walking past," Sirius whispered in her ear. The footsteps went past them. They both looked up and saw nobody. Sirius got up first and held his hand out to Y/N.
"May I have the pleasure of escort you to your quarters, Miss Y/N Riddle?" He asked.
"I thought you'd never ask Mr Sirius Orion Black," She replied taking his hand. Sirius got their robes off of the grass and put them around themselves. Sirius helped Y/N put on her green robe and returned to holding her hand after.

Whilst, the two of them were walking up to the Gryffindor tower, Sirius and Y/N holding hands with his spare hand around Y/N, while her head was on his shoulder, they heard a voice behind them.
"What the hell do you think you're doing with each other?" The voice was cold and sinister. They looked back and saw Voldermort at the other end of the hallway.
"Leave us alone Thomas, please," Y/N asked her brother as she turned his way.
"Y/N ignore him let's go," Sirius told her turning around again.
"You can't hurt me, Tom. Just give up already," She said before turning around to Sirius.
"Y/N GAUNT RIDDLE! COME BACK HERE NOW!" Tom shouted as his sister ignored him.
"LEAVE ME ALONE TOM IT'S NOT EVEN LIGHT OUT YET!" She shouted back as she carried on walking.

The two entered the cold, familiar common room with James and Molly sitting there minding their own business whilst the fire was giving out light and heat.
"That's where you got to then Pads?" James said mockingly as he looked up and saw Y/N and Sirius walk in.
"And you Y/N? I'm surprised," Molly joined in as she put her sketchbook down. Y/N and Sirius just looked at each other laughing.
"What on earth do you mean Molly?" Y/N said as she and Sirius sat down.
"Well, you didn't come back last night?"
"Oh yeah about that a lot happened after I left Reggie in the Astronomy Tower," Sirius told them.
"Wait what? What happened? What do you mean?" James asked Padfoot concerned.
"Are the others up yet?" Y/N and Sirius asked them.

Soon after everyone was awake they joined up at the boys' dorm. Y/N and Sirius changed into more warm clothing due to the cold October weather.
"Why tell us to meet up here?" Mary asked still waking up.
"It's about last night after Sirius left Regulus," Y/N told her. The pair took turns telling the others what happened the previous night before. From what happened at the astronomy tower all the way to when Narcissa found Lucius.
"Wait so he tried to kill Sirius?" Peter asked.
"More so," Sirius replied.
"Well, he clearly can't get away with that. Y/N?" Remus said to them.
"No. No, he can't Remus your right but I mean I don't know when he will be awake. Given the fact I did hex him," Y/N told them. "The worse part is Tom is still here. I can't do much without him knowing and he's worse than Malfoy. And this morning he tried to stop me again, didn't work of course."
"You are the most powerful witch I know Y/N and you are a Riddle. You can easily match his power with a bit of help and just tell him what you want. Surely he won't intentionally hurt you," Lily told her.
"Really Lily 'he won't intentionally hurt you' how reassuring is that," Peter commented.
"Lils is right Pettigrew if he does hurt me he most likely didn't mean to," Y/N said to him.
They all went to get breakfast still talking about the previous night when they saw Narcissa sitting without Lucius beside her. As everyone carried on walking to the table James and Y/N hung back.
"He must still be unconscious. Don't worry okay," James told Y/N as he saw her face.
"What if he isn't. What if I said the wrong spell or something?" Y/N told James worriedly.
"Don't think like that Y/N. And anyways you and Padfoot? What's that about" He asked her.
"What do you mean Potter?"
"Don't tell him I told you this but... me and the boys know you two kissed?"
"That bloody prat. Nothing is going on James don't worry. You will forever be his best friend I will never try to take that title." She said as she sat down laughing.

"Y/N a word please?" Narcissa came over to Y/N.
"What is it Narcissa?" Y/N asked as they left the hall.
"Lucius? Please just tell me what spell you done to him, Y/N please," Narcissa replied
"Can't you see what he's doing to you Cissa! HE IS USING YOU!" Y/N said to her.
"He isn't like that Y/N. Not with me anyway."
"Your the one who always warned me about people like that but yet here you are acting like a flipping fool."
"I was wrong okay. He's a good person at heart. You should know given you did date him?"
"Yeah we did but the reason we aren't together should prove my point."
"Just tell me the spell Y/N?"
"I just Stupefied him okay."
Narcissa thanked Y/N and began to walk away from her.
"Don't be a complete idiot and trust him Narcissa," Y/N told her before leaving, "DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU THEN!

"Y/N? What happened?" Andromeda came towards Y/N with a Hufflepuff Ted Tonks.
"Your idiot of a sister is still protecting Lucius even though he tried to kill your cousin last night," Y/N told her.
"Wait Lucius tried to KILL SIRIUS!" Andromeda asked.
"Yeah he did and now he is unconscious, I think," Y/N replied.
"Where is Sirius now Y/N?" The Hufflepuff asked.
"Inside the Great Hall. He's fine though, Malfoy got the worst of it," She said to him. Ted and Andromeda began to walk into the hall when Y/N called Andromeda back.
"Don't believe everything Lucius or Narcissa tells you about that night Drom, please," Y/N asked her quietly.
"Sirius is my cousin he's family and Narcissa is a fool for liking Lucius he probably will tell her a twisted version of that. I heard that your brother is here as well, don't worry about him," Drom told her softly.

As they headed towards the Great Hall, Y/N heard the same icy voice she heard a few weeks ago
"Y/N? C'mon, let's go." Andromeda called out to her.
"Yeah coming one second," Y/N told her still looking out into the hall as Drom walked into the hall.
"Follow me Y/N," The voice lured.
