Instead of turning herself back to the night sky above them, Thea turned herself around so that she was standing in front of Remus and hopped on the tower wall behind her, so that she was sitting in front of him. She cocked her head at his response then smiled mischievously.

“You’re really a hopeless romantic at heart, aren’t you?” she couldn’t help but ask with a sparkle in her eyes as she stretched her lips in another lopsided smile, leaning herself on her palms as she leaned forward so that she could see Remus better. Doing that made her see a blush spread over his face as he closed his eyes for a few moments. She let out a soft chuckle at that and asked Remus, once he stopped talking about Venus or Aphrodite, or whatever, “Would she captivate you too?”

Then she realized what she said and turned her eyes away from Remus as she quickly added, hoping that he didn’t hear what she said before, “Veelas, huh? Well, the word Veela in plural does sound remarkably like Venus.”

She looked at Remus again when he commented on the love lighting up the whole world and couldn’t help but wonder if he already found someone that lit up his whole world. Just the thought of that made her skin crawl, heart ache and head spin. She didn’t know if she would survive if Remus loved someone else and she could feel her lips tightening on her face. However, she turned her face to Remus when he continued talking about Mythology. It seemed as if he was really fascinated with it – just as she was. It was something that they both had in common, Anthea realized with a growing fondness that made her temporarily forget about him loving someone else, although the though was still piercing her heart whenever the topic was even touched.

“I totally agree with you on that one,” she said with equal amusement that she heard in Remus’s voice. “I particularly like the tale of Odysseus or the one of Eros and Psyche. Have you read the story of Daphnes and Chloe?” Okay, so that might have been seen as a barrage of questions, but Anthea was honestly curious about the guy standing in front of her. And then it was – the moment Remus hit the jackpot with the question about mummies and Egypt. She felt her whole face lit up at that and grinned at him enthusiastically,

“Yes, I love mummies! They’re my favourite topic! When me and my family are in Egypt I love exploring the ancient tombs and discovering the mummies left behind! Just this summer I found the sarcophagus of a person called Imhotep, who was cursed with the Hom Dai, the most terrible of the curses in Ancient Egypt – having your tongue cut, then put into bandages, put into the sarcophagus and slowly being eaten alive by scarabs.”

She shuddered at the mention of scarabs, but continued on, “And yes, there were quite a few pharaohs over the time – my favourite would be Seti the first, whom was murdered by his high priest Imhotep – the same Imhotep that was subjected to the Hom Dai. Imhotep himself was in love with Seti’s mistress, Ankh-su-namun and they murdered him together – although Ankh-su-namun killed herself before the Medjai could kill her for treason.”

She stopped talking there and blushed. Remus would surely think her even more odd than she was before, talking about curses and mummies like that. However, it seemed that she wasn’t the only that was blushing. Remus’s face flamed as well, but she did not know why. It was however revealed a second later when he asked her THE question. Thea couldn’t help but pout at him as she crossed her arms over her chest and stared down at him over her nose.

“You mean you don’t know my name? After so many prank wars between us? I’m insulted.”

With that she humphed and turned her head away from him, although her eyes stayed on him, curious as to what his reaction will be. It was surely to be interesting.
