Time's Ticking (Cactus Jones)

Scanning everybody my eyes landed on Mat, he didn't look like he was happy. His eyebrows were furrowed as he stared at the ground, obviously in thought.

A grin creepily stretching across my face I hovered towards Mat, out stretching my tail I wrapped it around his waist, unnoticed.

Everyone fell silent as I slithered my tail around Mat's waist, Vikk and Lachlan snickering while Jerome nudged Mitch raising his eyebrows.

Gingerly securing my tail around him I pulled him closer towards me so he was practically standing right in front of me. Lowering myself so I was the same height as Mat I leaned towards him.

My mouth not even a centimetre away from his eyes, a grin stretched insanely across my face Mitch, Jerome, Vikk and Lachlan were snickering in the background, my wings flapping silently

"Do you like cacti?" I breathed out and he screamed, whipping around he lunged at me. Blasting me backwards my tail squeezed his waist as he knocked me out of the air.

Both of us tumbling down the hill each of us holding onto each other's arms. Mat started to laugh weirdly earning me to start laughing.

"I DON'T LIKE CACTI!!!!'' Mat yelled and I laughed even louder, my childish giggle sounding across the area.

Choco diving off of the hill flew above us staring as Kenny, Mitch, Jerome, Vikk, Lachlan, and now Rob watched us mess around like children

"You know, I'm sorry about last time I saw you!" I apologized as we finally stopped tumbling. Mat landing on top of me he rolled off of me, his face on the ground he continued laughing.

His whole body shaking I continued laughing, not being able to breath I smacked the back of my head on the ground, staring up into the sky as Mat laughed beside me.

"It's...It's alright Preston...I...I asked for it.." Mat chuckled in between laughs, his voice sounding muffled as he talked with his face in the ground.

"Mat? You're insane.." I complimented laughing when he started to fake cry, his whole body still shaking as he laughed silently.

"I am not! You're just boring!" Mat teased whipping his face off of the ground he flipped over so his head was facing the breath taking sky.

The sun slowly setting my stomach stirred realizing how little time I had left..... I didn't even get to spend time with Mitch and Kenny yet....

Pushing away the thought I turned so I was facing Mat, his eyes filled with joy and hyperness....Yeah....He didn't change at all...

Sitting upwards he got up and started to walk away laughing. Laughing along as well a thought occured to me...How am I going to get up?

Sorry if it was a short chapter guys, I am trying to update as much as I can before I have to leave for the movies >.<
