Choco's P.O.V.

Oh god....Lunging off of the ground as soon as Jerome bolted off I felt my stomach twist into knots. What if he snapped?

My chest rising and falling heavily I whipped my wings outwards. The wind swirling around them I scanned the area. My whole body relaxing as soon as I saw him running towards

the others. Oh thank goodness. Blue catching the corner of my eye I shifted my gaze to the other side of the lake. Tears blurring my vision as soon as I saw the familiar face.

Preston...Oh thank god, he's ok....Kenny would have lost it. Smiling as I thought of the blonde boy I quickly shooed the thought away.

He likes Preston Choco, not you. Get it out of your thick skull. Positioning myself in a diving position I dove downwards, the wind smacking my face as it zipped by me the opposite way.

"You know Preston, I think they suit you" Rob's voice complimented, his voice coming into ear shot I out stretched my hands.

None of them noticing I snatched Preston's shoulders, springing  off of the ground I pivoted into the sky. A smirk on my lips it immediately faded as fear coursed through my veins.

A snarl slipping out of Preston's mouth he whipped his wings outwards, turning around insanely quickly I backed away as soon as I saw his eyes flaring with anger.

"Mmmmmmmmrrrraaaaaaa" Preston hissed the anger in his eyes quickly extinguishing as soon as he realized it was me. Preston's blue wings silently flapping magestically on either side of him.

"Preston?" Fear peeking out of my voice as I questioned, shock smacked onto his face as his eyes widened.

"Choco I...I....I didn't know it was you honest!" Preston apologized his face showing worry I nodded understanding.

"It's ok, I would have done the same. Besides, it's not every day a winged teenager picks you up while you're talking to you're loved one." I smirked,

Triumph squeezing my mind as soon as I saw Preston's jaw drop. Opening his mouth to protest only a squeaking sound escaped his lips before he sighed, admitting defeat.

"Preston, what are you waiting for?!?! Go back to Robby!" I nagged Preston shooting me a confused look before rolling his eyes.

The bitter cold sweeping over me I shivered as soon as I saw his eyes now an icy brown. Man, he changed, inside and out.

"What about you?" Preston questioned, his voice sounding like it did the first time I heard it. Wow, it wasn't as weak, more, powerful...In a way...Strong, .....Proud...

"Me? Nah, I need to go give the news to the others...You're alive! Everybody thought you died after the explosion we heard!" I announced waving my hands in the air he laughed, nodding.

"Alright alright, well. I guess we'll see you guys later!" Preston smirked making me chuckle under my breath.

Releasing his hand from my grip I laughed loudly as he dropped downwards, his wings limply behind him I watched amazed as they extended.

Each wing so big they cast a shadow over the ground below. Swooping down silently I watched as he landed behind Rob, hugging him from behind I smiled.
