Poofless: Time Cant Keep Us Apart (Third Book!!)

Rob's P.O.V.

My whole body tensing as soon as I heard something ruffle behind us I whipped around ending up face to face with Choco.

His face filled with complete worry my heart shattered knowing he was going to ask the one thing I didn't want to answer.

"Choco?" Jerome questioned his fur seeming even more dark from the light of the moon. My stomach crawling into my throat as soon as he answered.

"Jerome? Rob? Oh thank goodness! Mat ordered me to come scout. Where's Preston?" Choco asked tears welling in my eyes I bolted away from them rushing along

the shoreline tears spilling down my face as the waves swept back and forth on the sand my heart breaking when I thought of him.

He is actually gone...........He came back so many times before......But I don't think he's coming back this time....Or ever again.....

My heels kicking up the sand tear stains stuck to my face I pushed myself to keep running. Wind whipping gently at my face as sweat stuck to my forehead all I could do was run.

My whole body jerking to a stop I glanced around realizing how far I actually ran. Jerome and Choco's figures were on the other side of the beach....I ran all the way across.....

My heartbeat smashing against my chest like crazy I sighed, my breath shaky I hung my head low as I trudged along the shoreline.

Glancing upwards my eyes widened as my whole body froze. My eyes landing on a limp body laying on the shoreline......

Rushing towards it I kneeled down flipping the familiar figure over to see Preston's face. His eyes closed I shook my head tears filling my eyes.

"no....no no no No NO!!!" I shouted gently nudging Preston's shoulders as I layed him in my lap. His face peaceful....Like he was asleep..

Letting go of him all I could do was stare at him........I can't believe it....He's de-Wait.........My eyes widened as I watched his chest rise and fall slowly....
