Chapter 12: Healing

"Thanks for bringing me here…" Chris smiled at me as we walked thought the park. We’ve been hanging everyday since the funeral, he doesn’t like being Alone and I don’t blame him. I snugged against his arm and smiled. "No problem…Bae." I said hesitating, I have never called him Bae, baby, or boo. I heard how Chis treated girls when they tried and I just didn’t want him to treat me like that. Chris snugged closer to me and smiles, "Aww you called me Bae, that’s so cute." Chris sang in my ears and I giggled and held on him tighter.

"So when am I going to meet Pairs and Kourt?" I asked curious, we’ve been ‘talking’ for three weeks and I’ve met his mom. Paris and Kourt are two VERY important girls in his life. At first he talked about them like he was IN love with them so I would get jealous….until I called Pairs. She was cool but she ended up flirting with me and I was very uneasy about that. But now whenever she answers his phone its a friendly hi. "Well I was going over there later, if you want to join me." Ryan smiled seductively and I playfully pushed him then giggle. He fell then looked at me and smiled. " Oh it’s on now." Ryan said running toward me, I ran but he grabbed me from behind and I fell on him as we rolled in the sand.

after the minutes of laughing I looked into Ryan’s eyes then to his pink plumb lips and bit mine…Ryan rested his left hand on my thigh then started kissing my neck. I intertwined my hand into his curls as moans escaped my mouth. I could feel him smiling on my skin which made me want him even more, I wrapped my legs around his waisted and kissed his lips rough then bit his lip. Ryan looked up at me shocked. “You trying to do it out here?!?!?!?” Ryan’s voice got a little high and I gave him a seductive smile. “Nasty girl…” Ryan smiled and pulled me into a passionate kiss.

Was all I heard, it’s been three weeks and she still hasn’t work up, but they said she recovering very well. They just don’t understand why he hasn’t woke up yet, but I k ow why. God is teaching me a lesson, if she lives I will try to be a better person, I won’t try and find Cassie. Her life was just saved by god, but if she ever come on my turf I’ll get my girls to wish she never did this..

I sat next to her bed trying not to cry when Amber came in with a new vase of flowers, she was smiling to…which was a very good thing. Me and Amber has gotten very close these weeks, she would come in, change the flowers and try to get my mind of Kira still not waking up and then close to midnight she would leave. Now I realize why this clearly white girl hangs with Kira.

“Hey Nate, you hungry?” Amber asked putting the vase on the end table next to Kira’s bed and pulled out a McDonald’s bag, I just chuckled and nodded, she handed me a McChicken. “Thanks, do the doctors told me that they thinks its time to test her brain…” Amber smiled but I was quite confused.

“Test her brain??” I asked very confused and worried.

“They said she’s having brain activity, and they think the reason she was in a coma was to give her brain time to heal, but she still hasn’t woke so their gonna take her off life support and see if she can breathe on her own.”

They can’t do this! What If she doesn’t wake up? “How come they didn’t ask for my permission?” I asked as my temper raised then Amber head hanged.

“You’re not her husband…” I heard a male voice and turned around and saw this light skinned Asia looking guy with tattoos all over his body.

“And you are?” I asked standing up, he looked very calm a little too confident, then smirked. “I’m her husband.”

“Man this place is really good.” I said eating my ice cream while trying to cheer up Kourt but ever since the funeral she’s been Debbie downer and I was not liking it. “Come on babe please get out of this funk, it’s been weeks you need to have fun.” I smiled while caressing her leg, she blank stared me and my removed my hand and sighed.

“You’re thinking about sex while Kira is still in a coma and Vince is gone…” Kourt sure looked good when she’s upset. Yes. It helped you last time…” I smirked, she smacked her lips and got up I followed after her but she stopped.

“Leave me alone right now Paris, I need my space…” Kourt turned to walk away but I stopped her. “What do you mean? Are you breaking up with me?” I asked confused but she has tears in her eyes.

“I just think we need time apart, I can’t breathe with you breathing down my throat.” Kourt said wiping her face.

I pulled her in my arms and felt the tears forming. “We’ve together to be over now…I just want what’s best for you…”I whisperer and put my forehead on her which made me cry harder. I planted my lips on hers and waited for her to move away, but she didn’t which gave me motive to hold her tighter and explore me mouth. We were so into the kiss that she backed me up against the brick wall, I could hear people talking about but at this moment I was winning my girls heart back. I sucked on my lip and she moaned softly then pulled back, I looked so confused but she just walked away…and I didn’t stop her.

I guess it’s time to move on… Trying to keep my composure I walked to my car. I put the keys in the ignition and put my head on the steering wheel and cried. How could she give up so quickly? Instead of crying and feeling sorry for my self, I became anger. I’ve never disrespected her or cheated and yet she just broke up with me, we’ve been together for 6 years, I just couldn’t believe it. I finally drove off and headed to Nate’s house when I got a call from Omi.

“Hey, so I was wonder to clear the mood we all should go laser tagging.” Omi said smiling hard, I sighed.

“That’s gonna be a problem since Kourt and I just broke up…” I said then heard Omi gasped.

“No! You two are perfect…” I herd her sigh “Well do you want to go laser tagging? It will help your mood.” Omi said like a 5th grader and I could help but smile. “Alright I’ll be there in a few.” I said taking a uturn then heading to her house. “okay see you in a few ttyl.” Omi hung up and I looked at my background on my phone. It was of Kourt and I back in high school, she was a cheerleader an I was on the basketball team. We just won the finals and I was sweating and Kourt was pushing me away from her while I tried to kiss her. I laughed, then looked up and saw a semi trunk beeping their horn. I tried to turn but it was too late…I was gone.
