'Well, ready to roll boys?'The rain poured violently from the clouds above Beacon Hills as the storm approaching gradually becomes worse. Powerful gusts of wind were gracing the air as each rain droplet pattered loudly against the Jeep. The only sounds that we're audible inside where the loud and shaky breaths from me and my best friends. Each of us were nervous, the life of Stiles father is on the line and nobody in the town is safe. We don't know who is next and the suspense of the matter only made my anxiety of the subject heighten.
"I don't know, something just doesn't feel right. You know we outed her to Derek but it looked like it didn't even matter, like everything was still going according to plan. You guys saw it didn't you?" Asked Stiles breaking the silence that had been looming over us the whole drive.
No answer was needed, the silence from me and Scott was enough to tell the boy that we did in fact see it too. The woman seemed calm no matter how much chaos and strife she caused and she looked like she was in control, like everything we did was what she wanted us to do and the thought made me uneasy.
The Jeep pulled to a stop as we pulled up to the hospital, it is a place that slowly is becoming part of our daily lives. Each of us climbed out of the vehicle still surrounded by the bitter tranquil of silence. Stiles went to the back of his car and pulled out a bat, a wooden bat and me and Scott gave him looks of question.
"What? Scott you've got claws and well Lilac can suck people dry." Said the boy and we shrugged our shoulders at his response.
Every light in the hospital flickered and people were rushing through the hallways in a panic. Everybody was set to leave due to the weather warning but here we were waltzing right in like it was no matter to us. The storm was the last thing on our minds right now, we just found out that our English teacher is sacrificing people so a bit of rain and wind was nothing compared to the horrendous crimes she has committed.
Scott's mother was working or more like frantically trying to get everybody to leave until she locked eyes with us. Her expression showed one of confusion as she looked between each of us.
"Scott, what are you doing here? The hospitals closing?" The woman asked her son who sighed knowing his answer was only one that would cause her worry.
"We're looking for Cora." Scott said but the woman's expression didn't falter.
"What all of you? And why does Stiles had my bat?" Melissa asked
"Melissa, you need to trust us. You need to get out of the hospital it's not safe." I told the woman and I could tell she was alarmed at my comment but she didn't show it.
"Ok, the building is supposed to be clear in thirty minutes. We've got two ambulances that are coming back. Ones ten minutes out and the other is twenty. Cora needs to be on one of those. They'll be picking her up in the basement garage." The woman said and we all nodded.
