'A girls gotta eat.'

Nogitsunes are not something students are taught about in school, there weren't history books about a fox or people to tell their story because just like the creatures of Beacon Hills, it was a something nobody believed to be true. Nobody who walked passed the McCall pack would have suspected them to be anything but human because during those hours they walked the school hallways, that was what they were, werewolf, vampire, banshee, they were all still human. And just like each member of that pack, the fox was kept a secret, nobody knew of dark kitsunes that fed from chaos and strife, only people who knew of the creature knew what it was capable of. There was no way to place a face to the fox, no person could ever describe it because it was simply a traveller, he hid behind the faces of innocent people. Some would say it was a coward but others would come to realise it was simply smarter than them, it was the best at playing tricks and being hidden was part of the game.

But there were stories, of a fox that had multiple tails but every website or myth, said something different about the creature. Although there was something they all had in common, the way they described it to be evil, each one spoke about a dark kitsune, one that went by the name of void, they spoke about how it fed its powers, from taking strife and chaos and pain, they said it was a creature of mischief that simply had a twisted sense of humour. However it was only now the pack knew those things to be true, because they were living all of the things they had read, they walked the same streets as the fox and they had to deal with the pain it had caused, but not at a single moment did they see any of it to be humourful, they saw a line between dark humour and pure evil. And the fox was the second of the two.

Clang.

That sound seemed to be engraved into each of their minds, that sickening clang of the swords held by the demonic ninjas, they heard it every time those blades swung close enough to their face that their breath became caught in their breath. The room was filled with the scent of all the emotions the fox craved but as the pack stood protecting the two voided teenagers, they couldn't bring themselves to thrive from the feelings, they were scared, of the beings with the glowing eyes currently trying to kill them. And the creature inside of the two didn't know how it had ended up here, after all those years it has spent in darkness and solitude, how it had finally seen light, how right in front of him appeared the host he had been looking for all this time, somebody who could give him the ability to not only feed from others pain put feel it too.

Even after a thousand years of fighting and feeding from others pain, every time his game ended with the same move, a move that trapped him from the world and ended in his demise but it was only now he felt he had a chance, all because of the girl he was currently possessing, one girl that was so underestimated but was undeniably powerful, Lilac Collins was his divine move, she was his winning move.
