'Batman, Scotty has the hots for the new girl.'

Sleep was something that I had become unfamiliar with and each night it only got worse. The nightmares plagued me and sometimes I wasn't even sure that I was waking up. Those glowing orange eyes were at the centre of my head every night and they always woke me with a fright.

The sacrifices had an affect on me. Somedays are worse than others but it's there. Deaton told me that my connection to Stiles was too strong and I agree. It's like I know when something bad is happening to him, when he has a nightmare my brain seems to know and it's starting to freak me out.

When I am awake it's almost like I'm seeing things. This man, covered in bandages and teeth as sharp as razors but he slowly morphs into the man on fire. Each night it's the same, the same nightmare and the same stupid riddle. When is a door not a door and no matter how many times I answered it, they came back.

Sweat beaded on my forehead as I tossed around in my bed and small whimpers escaped my lips. "Chaos and strife, chaos and strife." The bandaged man repeated in my ear and his breath fanned my skin making a wave of nausea wash over me. "Leave me alone, Leave Stiles alone." I screamed but it came out barely above a whisper. "Goodbye little dove." Said the man in a sickly tone and I woke up.

A shrill scream sounded through the house as I sat up in my bed before the door opened and Isaac came rushing in pulling me into his chest. He had been doing this the few days as every night I screamed myself awake and his worry only grew. "Stiles, something is wrong with Stiles." I told the boy who looked at me in utter confusion but I jumped from the bed and slipped on my converse before speeding to the boys house and I was mere meters away as I heard his scream.

I jumped up through his window and rolled onto his bed to see his father trying to comfort him and looking at me in suprise. "How did you know?" The man asked me as he held the wailing boy.

"I felt it." I said as I grabbed the boys head and pulled him into my chest and his whimpers began to die down. His father left the room after light snores escaped his mouth as I laid him gently back on the bed but as I went to stand, his hand grabbed my hand.

"Please Li, stay." He croaked out, his voice being hoarse from the shouting.

"Okay Batman."

To say that I was tired would be an understatement, the dark bags under my eyes seemed to get darker every passing day but it wasn't anything concealer couldn't fix. My body is exhausted, I can't go a few hours of sleeping without the nightmares waking me. Stiles seemed to be in the same position as me, he also had dark bags but they weren't nearly as bad as mine.

Both of us trudged lazily out of bed with a sigh. The sunlight burned my eyes and every muscle in my body felt weak. I grabbed a blood bag and as I opened it Noah walked into the room, doing a double take as he saw what I was holding.
