"It's too early for this." Carina whined. Ginny nodded in agreement ahead of her. "Why do we have to be up so early..." The ginger-haired girl mumbled.

She, The Weasleys, Harry & Hermione all walked half-awake on the trail away from the burrow and into the woods. They were all pale and drowsy minus Mr. Weasley, of course, who looked to be quite cheerful. The teenagers had no thought of where they were heading at all, apart from Mr. Weasley, who was the only one who knew.

"Hey, you two." Harry called out to Carina and Ron who were walking beside one another. They turned their heads toward him. "Where're we going?" They didn't look like they were heading to the world cup at all.

"Do I look like I know?"

"I have no idea." Ron said. "Oi Dad! Where're we going?!"

"Haven't the foggiest!" Liar. "Now keep up and quit whining!" Oi

Carina sighed as she held tightly onto the straps of her backpack that carried her essentials, her head hung as she walked. Like she stated, it was too early for this, the adrenaline and excitement from before vanished many eons; seconds ago.

"Ah.." Carina began dramatically. "Isn't there a gentleman somewhere, out there, to give me a much needed piggyback ride?" She sweetly asked.

The redheaded twins ahead snickered as Hermione and Ginny both shook their heads.

"Pfft! In your dreams, Rin!" Ron said before Harry's backpack was unexpectedly dropped onto his shoulder. "Aye!" Harry pranced right up to Carina and bent his knees in front of her, his back to her. "Here!"

"Oh wow, Harold!" Carina smirked cheekily. "Always the savior ain't ya?"

Harry's face grew hot as the twins howled somewhere in the background.

"Just get it over with, Black!"

"Right on it, Potter!" She threw her backpack right at Ron— Well, right in his face taking her revenge, much to his dismay —  and jumped right onto Harry's back who quickly grabbed onto the back of her thighs to support her weight. She locked her arms around his neck and playfully snuggled her face into his hair — it had grown longer over the summer, she noticed. In fact, they all changed over the season. The teenagers had a noticeable spurt of height growth. She also noticed that his body was hot to the touch.

Strange

Was he growing a fever? It was way too early in the morning, the weather is sort of chilly today.

No matter.

"Thank you, My dude!"

"Anytime." Harry's heart cracked a little, inwardly despairing.
