The school had talked of nothing but Sirius Black for the next few days. The theories about how he had gotten into the castle became wilder, really wild that there was one where he could apparently turn into a flowering shrub.
Carina had just wanted to stab herself in the brain multiple times after hearing that theory.
The Fat lady's canvas were taken off the wall from its resting place and replaced with the painting of Sir Cadogan and his white horse. Nobody was happy about that as the portrait spent half of his time challenging the Gryffindor students to duels that they didn't want and he kept on changing the passwords which led to poor Neville Longbottom to write a list so he can try and keep up.
All of them thought Sir Cadogan was barking mad and they resented him for his uncalled for shenanigans that will soon drive them all mad as well.

Snape strolled inside the classroom slamming the door shut. He swished his wand around closing the windows, leaving only two windows open so there can still be light. As the greasy-haired professor walked to the front of the classroom he rolled down a white screen and turned around to the face the confused students with a scowl on his face.
"Turn to page 394."
He said monotonously as usual and everyone did as he told opening their books fast. As Carina opened her book she was quickly met with the demanded page making her cheer internally. She loved when that happens. That is until she noticed it was about werewolves. They weren't supposed to learn that yet unless... Snape was trying to set Professor Lupin up.
Snape began walking towards the students his footsteps dangerously slow. His dark eyes were narrowed, watching them as a hawk. "Excuse me, sir." Harry politely asked, "Where's professor Lupin?"
Snape looked down on him the scowl still set on his face. "That's not really your concern, is it, Potter?"
"Suffice it to say that your professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Turn to page 394"
"Werewolves? " Ron questioned. "But sir, we just began learning about red caps and hinkypunks." Hermione said to Snape appearing in a trice from beside Ron who gasped, tucking something under her robes. "We're not meant to start that for weeks." She finished.
"Quiet." Said Snape lowly. "When did she come in?! Did you see her come in?" Ron whispered to Harry and Carina from the seat beside them making Harry shrug at him.
"Now, which one of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a Werewolf?" Both Hermione and Carina raised their hands. Harry from beside her raised his eyebrows in question, surprised at her. It was rare for Carina to raise her hand up to answer questions— not that she was stupid or anything! She was actually far from it. But this one in particular, made her want to answer it. The girl had always loved the thought of being an Animagus ever since her first year when she witnessed her favorite teacher— Professor Mcgonagall transform into a cat right before them. But of course, it would be hard to get all the requirements needed for it seeing as the process took a great deal of skill, practice, and patience.
