I tried desperately to get Bloom's attention, but she was too absorbed in the well, her gaze distant and lost in thought.

A small smile tugged at the corners of my lips. It had been five months since I began studying at Alfea, and I was starting to feel more comfortable. I'd made so many new friends, and it was as though my introverted self was gradually giving way to a more extroverted version.

Nah, impossible.

"Bloom!" I called again, a little louder this time, hoping to snap her out of her reverie. When she still didn't respond, I sighed in frustration. Reaching forward, I flicked her forehead, finally breaking the spell and pulling her back from whatever daydream had captured her attention.

"Ow..." Bloom winced, rubbing her forehead as she blinked at me in confusion. "What's up?"

"What did you wish for?" Stella asked, her curiosity piqued as Bloom casually dropped a coin into the well.

"I can't tell you that," Bloom replied flatly, her tone serious. "Or else my wish won't come true."

"Does it have to do with someone with blonde hair and blue eyes?" I grinned knowingly, raising an eyebrow as I exchanged a mischievous look with Musa.

Bloom's expression shifted to one of shock, her eyes widening slightly at my guess.

"By the look on her face, I'm pretty sure it does," Musa teased, her voice light but full of amusement. She shot a sly glance in Bloom's direction, and the rest of us followed suit. "Bloo-oom?"

"Brandon wants to go on a walk," Bloom shrugged, finally letting us in on the reason behind her faraway look. "What do you think that means?"

"Yo, Bloom," I chimed in, my voice playful. "I don't know what 'going on a walk with a boy' means on Earth, but in my realm, when your crush asks you out, we usually call it a date."

Bloom's eyes widened in disbelief at my words, her cheeks flushing faintly.

"Isn't it called a date on Earth too?" I asked, nudging her gently.

Bloom nodded, her lips curling into a soft smile. "It is."

"Well, she can't go anyways," Stella interjected, her tone a little more serious now, and we all turned to her, questioning. She sighed and shook her head. "He asked her less than seventy-two hours in advance."

"Come on, Stel!" I whined, shaking my head in disbelief. "He was just being spontaneous."

"I have to agree with Stella," Tecna added, her expression thoughtful. "Spontaneity is overrated. Planning is a sign of respect."

"And pretending to have a busy social calendar is a sign of self-respect," Stella added with a satisfied nod, pleased that Tecna, the most logical of us all, was backing her up. "Besides, what kind of cheap date is going on a walk? Walking limits the choice of dating footwear."
