I let out a shaky breath as lightning cracked through the sky, the raw energy of the storm intensifying my impatience with each passing second as we waited for the Trix and their Army of Decay to arrive.

"Everyone, pay attention!" Codatorta's voice cut through the tension, snapping me out of my anxious state. "Miss Faragonda is your commander-in-chief now, understood?"

"Fairies, Witches, and Heroes," Miss Faragonda began, her voice steely and unyielding. Her eyes were void of emotion, hardened by the weight of the moment. "As we face our final battle, I want you to summon all your courage, all your strength, and channel it directly at Icy, Darcy, and Stormy. If we have any hope of survival, those three must be defeated."

Lightning struck again, a deafening crack splitting the sky.

"If we have any hope of survival," her words echoed, hauntingly repetitive in my mind. The weight of them pressed down on me, my throat going dry, and a creeping fear threatened to break my resolve.

And then, the one thing I had dreaded arrived.

A massive army of monsters approached our school, an overwhelming sea of snarling creatures, their numbers far exceeding anything we could possibly fight. I was horrified, the sheer scale of the enemy leaving me feeling helpless. There was no way we could defeat them all.

"Attack!" Icy commanded, her voice cold and merciless. A wave of monsters surged forward, flying toward us, heedlessly obeying her call.

"Water Shield!" I shouted, and a shield of shimmering blue water formed in front of me, its surface rippling with the force of the incoming attacks. I shut my eyes tightly as the monsters hurled their strikes at me, my hands trembling.

"[Name]!" A voice called out, and I felt hands grip my shoulders. I opened my eyes to see Musa standing there, her face etched with worry, but there was fear in her eyes, too. "Snap out of it, you're not alone."

That simple reminder cut through my panic like a knife.

"Right!" I nodded, the determination flooding back to me. With one last, thankful glance at Musa, I flapped my wings, rising to gain the high ground, my resolve now as solid as the shield I had created.

Faragonda and Griffin raised their arms, red light swirling from their palms as they formed a powerful barrier around the school.

"You can't stop me!" Stormy cackled, her voice dripping with malice. "I'm the new headmistress of Alfea!" With a flick of her hand, lightning crackled and surged once more, striking with brutal force. I faltered as I saw a purple dragon—her dragon—unleash bolts of lightning at the barrier. "Make room, Fairies, we're moving."
