"Are you sure the Witches can't see us?" Stella asked, a doubtful look clouding her face as we carefully navigated the dark, winding tunnels.

"Tecna downloaded the latest anti-detection spell," Bloom replied confidently, her tone firm with unwavering faith in Tecna's abilities. I wanted to trust it too, but something felt off. My intuition buzzed uneasily, a subtle warning at the back of my mind. "So it should work against their surveillance system."

Without warning, Knut froze in his tracks. Confused, I shot him a questioning look, trying to discern the reason for his sudden halt. "Knut, what is it?"

"A monster," Knut whispered harshly, almost yelling as he jabbed a finger toward the end of the corridor. Two hulking figures loomed in the dim light—the same monsters that had attacked Alfea. "I don't think it can see us though," he added, his tone laced with cautious relief.

I couldn't stop the triumphant grin that spread across my face. "So the spell works," I murmured, the thought giving me a small sense of victory.

Unbeknownst to us, the Witches were already two steps ahead. They knew we were here, and every step we took was pulling us deeper into their trap.

"Honestly, can that monster be any more disgusting? Ew!" Stella's nose wrinkled in distaste as she gestured toward the grotesque creature, while I deadpanned at her dramatic outburst.

"Shh!" Knut hushed her urgently. "Wait here." With surprising deftness, he pressed a loose brick in the wall. To my amazement, a hidden passageway slid open with a soft grinding noise. "This will lead us to the Witches' dorm room. They're probably there. Come on."

Knut took the lead, pushing the heavy door open as we followed cautiously. When we finally entered, my shoulders sagged in relief—there were no Witches in sight.

"No Witches here," Stella observed, her calculating gaze sweeping the room.

"If I hid the ultimate power, where would it be?" Bloom mused aloud. It was a good question. Villains always had a flair for dramatics, so it had to be somewhere noticeable—or symbolic.

"The royal faculty lounge, perhaps?" I offered. Knut's eyes lit up with recognition.

"I know how to get to the lounge," he said quickly, pointing toward another door. "That way."

Bloom stepped forward and cracked the door open, only to slam it shut after a brief glance. Her expression was tense. "There are monsters everywhere. Even with the anti-detection spell, we shouldn't go that way."

"We can try the kitchen," Knut suggested, shrugging casually. "I always snuck in there for cookies and milk. It's right through the secret mirror door."
