Morgan pov
I walked into class stressed out once I realized I never finished my paper. I know professor Palmer has had it up to the roof with my bullshit. He's going to fail me for sure.
The whole class period I spent snacking on anything I could find in my purse.
"Share man." Noah whined eyeing my granola bar.
"No way." I swatted his hand away. "Im eating for two." I reminded him.
He kissed his teeth. "You were greedy even before the baby." He teased back.
I laughed in agreement as I passed him one.
"What did you get joanna for her birthday?" I asked him.
"Why so you can steal my idea?" He smirked.
It was my turn to kiss my teeth now. "Please boy I got my gift weeks ago. Mines is most likely 10 times better." I assured him.
"Cocky much." He pointed out.
I shrugged not denying it as I directed my attention back towards professor Palmer.
"see you all Monday." He said dismissing us.
I stood up from my seat with a loud sigh. I know for sure he's going to tell me to say behind.
"Morgan, can I have a moment of your time." He asked.
See I told you.
"See you tonight." I told Noah as he headed for the door.
"Professor Palmer you have got to understand I'm trying." I began to whine slightly knowing it wouldn't work.
"I know." He said shocking me.
"You do?" I asked skeptical.
"Yes, your fear essay was incredible." He told me causing me to stand there confused. "You emailed it kinda late last night which was rude. I do have a personal life." He teased.
I did what?
"Could I see this paper?" I asked. "Just to be sure I sent the right one, I was pretty tired." I lied.
He nodded leading me over to his desk pulling it up.
I scanned over the few first words saying how my biggest fear was rain storms.
I smiled slightly knowing almost instantly Chresanto did it.
"Great paper, I was very impressed." He complimented me.
I smiled. "Thanks." I said simply.
"But that still doesn't defeat the situation at hand. Iv warned you time after time about those journal entries." He told me causing my heart to drop.
"You will have to attend tutoring sessions with me until you complete those journals." He said shocking me.
"wait so you aren't going to fail me?" I asked him.
"No. Something about you won't allow me to do so... You have potential. You just need me to bring it out of you." He said. "These sessions are not optional I do expect you to attend each one. Starting Monday." He told me.
I nodded. "'No problem." I smiled. "Thank you so much professor Palmer!" I exclaimed with excitement.
"Have a good weekend." He smiled.
I left out of the classroom blushing. He had faith in me.

"Chres can you slip my shoes on." I asked him.
