Start Of Something New

"Are you serious?!" I exclaimed excitement flooding my body.

"Very much so Chresanto, they love the whole vibe of Le Reve. They want to begin on this project asap." Lisa explained.

"Im so ready."I told her eager causing her to laugh.

"I'll keep in touch." She told me before she ended the call.

Wow. I needed great news like this, life ain't been too good but this right here gives me a reason to smile.

I picked back up my phone eager to call Morgan to share the news. "Hello?" She answered as she shuffled in the back.

"Hey baby." I greeted. "What are you doing over there?" I questioned as she continued to move around.

"Hold on." She said as the noise continued.

Seconds laters she came back into the phone.

"Babe I just got the greatest phone call ever." I began.

"That's good baby. " she said. "Let's talk when you get home I'm extremely busy right now." She said shutting me down.

"Oh okay." I said. "Our love is-" I began but to only be cut off by the sound of her ending the call.

I pulled the phone from my ear looking at it funny... Woah she must have had something really important to do.

I sat my phone down onto my desk leaving my office.

"Everything okay in here?" I asked as I entered the kitchen just as a loud commotion came from the closet area.

I walked back there seeing sky on the floor with all the buns knocked down on top of her.

As I took in the sight I couldn't contain my laughter. "Please don't tell me you were in here climbing on the shelf." I choked out in between laughs.

She looked up in embarrassment. "Some idiot put them all the way at the top." She pouted as she stood up.

"that idiot would be me." I chuckled as I helped her pick up the bags of buns disposing of the smushed ones.

"Sorry." Her cheeks reddened more. "I didn't mean that." She stressed out.

I waved her off showing it was no big deal. "Don't start acting all awkward around me, I'm the same man from the bar." I assured her.

"No because at the bar you were just a Friendly drunk guy but here you are my boss." She pointed out.

I chuckled. "Good point." I shrugged.

"I have about 5 minutes left of my break and if I don't get food soon I'm going to die from starvation." She over exaggerated.

"Let me treat you to a burger." I offered. "I kinda owe you for helping me out the other night." I told her.

"A bonus on my next paycheck would be nice." She smiled.

Before I could respond a soft laugh escaped her mouth.

"Kidding." She chuckled.

I smiled nodding. "Right." I said.

"So about that burger." She cheesed.

We sat outside of nino's as we ate our food I couldn't help but look around admiring what a good day it was.

"You have been smiling a lot lately." Sky pointed out.

"I guess." I shrugged again keeping my smile.

She chuckled. "What has you so happy?" She questioned.

I took a sip from my drink debating quickly if I wanted to tell her or not. I really wanted to share the news with Morgan first.

"They want to Take Le Reve world wide. " I said not able to keep the news to myself anymore."They are going to start scattering my restaurant all over like a McDonald's." I told her. "Just a more, upgraded version." I chuckled.

"Wow." She gasped. "That's amazing!" She exclaimed.

"I know, I know!" I cheesed.

"Congratulations." She smiled.

"Thank you." I told her simply before biting into my burger again.

"What does Le Reve stand for anyways?" She asked.

"The dream." I told her.."in French." I clarified.

"Now that's cool." She complimented.

My smile depended as I finished my food.

Never have I ever thought that my restaurant would get this big...good things actually do happen to people like me

As soon as I got home I walked into the house with the smell of a home cooked meal hitting me right in the face.

I smiled this day just keeps getting better.

Once I got up to the kitchen I glanced around seeing what resembled a feast.

"Woah." I smiled.

"You're home!" Morgan exclaimed as she ran into my arms kissing me."iv missed you so much I had the best day ever!" She exclaimed.

"Me too." I told her.

"Quick sit." She said pushing me into a seat.

"So today I was over at William's house hanging with joanna and as I was looking at all of William's trophies and things from basketball I got the greatest idea." She breathed out excitedly.

"Which is?" I asked her.

"That I wanted to be a lakers girl." She exclaimed.

"A lakers girl?" I asked. "Like a dancer for the lakers basketball team?" I asked her for clarification.

She chuckled. "Of course silly." She smiled.

"Wow." I breathed out.

Her facial expression dropped. "You don't seem to excited." She pointed out.

"I am babe." I assured her grabbing her hand into mine. "I just didn't even know you were into these kind of things." I admitted.

"since the retreat iv decided to be very open about a lot of things, and this is something that I really want at the moment."She explained.

The way her eyes lit up as she talked about it made me smile .. How could I talk down on something she was so passionate about?

"You're going to be the best lakers girl that ever lived." I assured her.

She let out an excited scream.

"I know!" She exclaimed while jumping onto my lap. "I knew you would support me." She said surely as she began to place kisses all over the spot right above my collar bone.

"I have exciting news too." I pointed out.

"Kiss me." She ordered before locking her lips onto mine.

My hands ran up the small of her back brushing across her bare skin as our kiss deepened. She began to Palm me through my jeans before unzipping my flyer letting me loose.

"Mmm." She moaned as she rubbed on me. She removed my long t shirt she had on reveling her body which only consisted of the small fabric from her panties.

I moved them to the side slipping into her. "Fuck." She breathed out which was like music to my ears.
