My first shot at a Surrera, kinda dark but strap in and hold on tight. Taking place after the events of season 3 episode 16. It has it's own book if you want to check it out.

Part 1

With Robert still in hospital Andy had a lot of free time on her hands when not on shift everyone had significant others where her's was in the hospital. No one could say husband to her they would always say something along the lines of, 'Go be with your... battalion chief,' or her favourite, 'What about your...what about Sullivan?' Travis and Vic were the most guilty of it though they wouldn't admit it.

Being alone wasn't as good as everyone else thought after a 24 hour shift especially when your whole world was turned upside down by your mum still being very much alive and your dad dying without even getting to say goodbye. One thing she remembered most clearly from when she found out the truth was her mum saying, "Be careful Andrea depression and madness comes easily to my side of the family," what was that meant to mean. Frustrated she got up to go downstairs and do the dishes, "Come on Andy your doing the dishes at 6 am what the hell," she dropped the glass cup smashing it into a thousand pieces.

It took a few moments to realise she suddenly felt a strange wave of relief flush over her. Looking down she saw the three pieces of glass embedded in her wrist, blood dripping into the murky dishwater. She felt along the edge of the cut remembering Ryan and the woman they ran to help, Ruby her name was. All she could feel was relief. Snapping out of it she ran to cover the cuts and take out the glass. Hearing the doorbell ring she rocketed downstairs to answer it, "Hey Maya what is it?" "Came to say hello you were acting odd yesterday, uh whats with the blood on the kitchen side?" "Oh I dropped a glass I was just about to patch myself up when you rang," "I'll help."

Maya pushed the door open while snatching up the first aid kit, Andy sat down at the table as Maya bandaged the wound. "What really happened Andy?" "As I said I dropped a glass I can give you a dozen examples of the exact same thing happening on shift..." Andy went to stand up but felt extremely dizzy doing so. "I'll be right back," Andy bolted to the downstairs bathroom to throw up, "Are you sure there isn't something you aren't telling us?" "Carina knows though I asked her not to say anything," "What does Carina have to do with with it?" "Oh my god Maya do I have to spell it out for you! I'm pregnant Maya." Her yells made Maya freeze, "Does Sullivan know?" "No I only found out a couple days ago," "When you had that fight."

They sat in complete silence for almost an hour, "You and Sullivan as parents wow!" "Remember when we had that baby be dropped off at the station and how Robert was so good with her, I only wonder. I really should see someone though," "About what?" "Maya my mum is still alive and she said these exact words to me, 'Be careful Andrea depression and madness comes easily to my side of the family,' crazy or what?" "Crazy, definitely crazy, Andy you might wanna cover your arm when you get Sullivan today," "Your right. I felt something today I've never felt before when I cut my arm, I felt relief freedom so much so I debated doing it again." "Andy don't, don't you dare it's not just you alone," "Please don't say anything, I've gotta go," "Yeah I better go to, Carina will be wondering what's taking me so long," "See ya."

Pulling up at Grey Sloan she took a deep breath checking her sleeves before getting out. "Robert Sullivan?" "Down there to the right," "Thank you!" She yelled walking down the corridor. Sitting in the corner Robert looked up to face her smiling wide, "Hey Andy," "Hi babe," she hugged him as he got up, "Ready to go?" "Yeah come on." He ruffled her hair playfully. In the car he noticed the bandage when her sleeve rid up if she hadn't of mentioned it it wasn't the best time to push it.

In the rush of the events she'd forgotten to clean the blood up, "Sorry about the mess I was barely able to get out the door on time," she quickly mopped the blood into the sink before rinsing it down hoping he hadn't of noticed. "What was that?" "Oh nothing I spilt washing up liquid earlier, tuve cinco minutos divertidos pero ahora estoy feliz de verte," (I had a funny five minutes but now I am happy to see you), "Aww gracias nena, ven aquí," (Aww thanks babe, come here) he beckoned her down to the sofa when they sat arm in arm. "Robert I don't know how to tell you this so I'm just going to spit it out, I'm pregnant," she sighed like a load has just been taken off her shoulders, "That's amazing! Your pregnant, we're pregnant! OMG!" He squeezed her tight smiling from ear to ear, "Hi little guy I'm your dad," "Robert stop!" She laughed as he rubbed her stomach. "How far a long?" "My first check up is in a week otherwise I have no idea."
