After maybe an hour of waiting and getting everything dealt with, we met up with the rest of the boys at a BBQ restaurant. Jeez, I'm hungry.
"Are you two together?" I question Seungmin. "It seemed like you, you know, were really tight when we were at your apartment. If you know what I mean, of course."
He glares at me, his ears firing up. Clearing his throat, he shyly looks down at his food.
"Yes, we are."I smile, feeling Chan rub my thigh. "That's sweet. I'm happy for you. What about you, Lix?"
"Nothing's changed since the first time we called, dummy," he giggles, unconsciously glancing at his almost boyfriend.
"I mean, you guys could've started when I left. I don't know what you do in your spare time. You barely talk to me anymore."
"Bitch, shut up. We talk at least once a week," he laughs, shaking his head.
"That's barely talking! You know how clingy I am. Rude ass. I feel betrayed. Maybe it's because you have Jeongin's-"
Minho covers my mouth, stopping me from making a fool of myself. "I think that's enough out of you. Eat your food."
"I would if I could use my hand," I point out, lifting the casted hand. "You have a hard face, Changbin. Still was nice to hit."
"I get that a lot. Thank you," he smiles, tilting his head to look cute. Gross.
I scoff, shaking my head. Chan holds a piece of meat up in front of me, letting me take a bite.
"You only broke one hand, lazy ass. Don't use them as your slaves."
"Ugh, you're totally right. Sorry boys, we'll save that for when we get home."
Minho chokes on his spit, and Chan puts his head in his hands. Ah, I love them.
"Min?" Chan calls, his face entirely red.
"What?" The other coughs out, Felix patting his back to try and help. He was laughing too. I love my best friend.
"We should get a third cage."
"Yo, uh, hold up," I hold my hands up. "I did nothing wrong, and you guys aren't even into that. None of us are. I mean, maybe Seungmin is, but it was a joke. Sheesh. Demons are so uptight, aren't they, Lix?"
"Absolutely," he agrees, his shoulders bobbing up and down from laughter.
"Jisung?" Someone calls my name from behind me, making me turn to look.
"Hyunnie! What are you doing here?" I'm quick to stand, hugging him as a greeting.
"Getting dinner, duh."
"Oh, right. Are you here with anyone?"
"No, I'm just grabbing it to-go. Who are these guys? Besides the other two dipshits. Hey Lix, hey Seung."
The two wave, the other four waiting to be introduced. "These two are my boyfriends, Chan and Minho. The small one is Changbin, and the other is Jeongin. Guys, this is Hyunjin. He goes to school with me."
"Nice to meet you," the taller bows, taking in everyone's appearance.
"Do you want to eat with us? I don't want you to be alone or anything," I offer, knowing the others wouldn't mind at all. They're all nice people and demons.
"Oh, gosh, no. It's alright. I have work in an hour. This is just a quick dinner."
I frown, grasping his arm gently. "Hyun, you worked this morning. Why are you going back?"
He looks like a deer caught in headlights. "Um, they just... needed someone to come in. Another person called in, so I'm covering."
"Oh, alright. Make sure to sleep well after."
"I will. Bye everyone," he waves, heading out.
Does he even realize how bad of a liar he is?
