I land on the ground, grasping my cheek. I could feel the bruising begin to take over the left side of my face. Blood seeped out, my teeth having cut the inside of my cheek.

That's when everything stopped. They were both at my side in an instant, touching me, holding me, talking to me. But I couldn't focus on that.

Tears dripped down my chin as I stared in my lap. They were trying to get me to look at them while they were apologizing. I knew it was an accident. An accident that I had caused. I didn't think about what I was doing before I did it. I didn't realize that I was trying to help something that didn't want to be helped.

Minho is mentally wounded. He didn't want to dive back into that wound; he wanted to get over it. Small reminders are going to keep coming to him, and we're just going to have to be there. Changbin isn't going to help. Jeongin isn't going to help. How could they? Even if they felt so much guilt, it's not like they could turn back time. How could I be so stupid?

"Angel, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Please look at me. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have started a fight. We should've talked it out calmly. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I'm so sorry."

He was crying too, guilt overwhelming him. Chan was sitting there, turning my head to make sure the injuries weren't too serious. It was just one hit, it wasn't bad. It was an accident.

I lift my arms around Minho, holding him tightly as he shared the same strength. "I'm sorry, too. I shouldn't have overstepped. You just need time. It's okay."

"It's not okay. I hit you, and I hit Chan. I'm so sorry, to both of you. Chan, I know you were trying to prevent the fight. Thank you for trying. I'm really, really so sorry. I'm so sorry." His apologies began to not even sound audible. He was a blubbering mess, hugging me and grasping onto Chan tightly.

"Hey, Moon, quiet down. Just breathe," Chan shushes, rubbing Minho's back. "I forgive you. Look at me. Look at me." Chan grasps Minho's chin, forcing his head up. "You're just overwhelmed right now, huh, pup? Let's get you back to bed."

"I-I wanna sit in my cage."

"You don't have to. You're punishing yourself enough right now."

"I want to. I need to. I should be punished more. I've been bad. That's why we have the cages. For punishment."

"Okay, okay. Sit in your cage. I'll give you an hour. How about that?"

"Take me out when you guys go to bed."

"Min, it'll be hours before we do."

"I know."
