"Visit sometime, okay? Or at least call," My mom suggests, hugging me tightly.

"I will, mom. Thank you for having us. I really appreciate it. I see how hard you guys are trying." I pat her back, pulling away, but not before I kiss her cheek.

"We are happy when you are happy. I love you so much, Jisungie."

"I love you, too, mom."

My dad turns me over to him while my mom hugs the boys goodbye. He rests a hand on my shoulder, checking me over before embracing me.

"I love you, son. Thank you for not giving up on us. Please, come see us or call. Being separated for that time pained me."

"I love you, too. I'll try my best, dad. I'll never give up on you guys. Not until you understand. But now you do, so it's okay."

He pulls away, grinning at me. He looked so proud. It made me happy.

"Thank you boys for taking care of him," my mom bows, smiling at them. My dad joins in, saying such things as them keeping me from burning down the apartment (though, I hadn't told them how they almost did it first).

Minho and Chan never stopped smiling. They held onto my parents, taking in the love and acceptance. They were soaking it in.

"See you later," I wave, stepping into the taxi. I swallowed a hard lump in my throat. I didn't want to leave, but it was getting late.

Once the three of us were in, I watched my parents wave until the car was out of sight.

"So, lovely?" Minho questions. I knew what he was asking.

"That went better than I expected. I didn't think they were going to admit some of those things, but I'm glad they did. And thank you boys for being on your best behavior. I expected nothing less. You're perfect."

"Of course, peach. We wanted to make a great impression, and I think we did."

"I love your parents. From as much shit you went through with them, the love that filled the house blinded those issues." Minho used his hands when he talked. His eyes lit up, enlightened by the experience. "It was fantastic. I want to visit them more."

"We will, don't worry. I think I should get a car soon, though. Walking everywhere is fine, but I want to see my parents more. They're too far."

"We can get jobs-"

"No, absolutely not. I'll figure the money out by myself. You two stay away from that. It's too dangerous for that, especially right now."

"We know not right now, baby," Chan kisses the side of my head. "Don't worry. We'll find a way to help you."

I nod, leaning back into Minho's chest. His arm was wrapped around me, holding me close. "Thank you." I was saying it to both of them, grateful for their loyalty and love.

My pets.
