"Ch-Chan, Ji..." Whimpers wake me from my sleep. When I open my eyes, Chan is already by Minho's side. I'm quick to get up.

"What's wrong, moon?"

Tears slide down his temples. He was trembling. He had his eyes shut, but his facial expression looked like he was in pain.

"Is he d-dead?"

"Is who dead, pup?" I question softly, brushing stray hairs out of his face.

"The man."

"No, lovely. He got away."

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

"I'm okay. It's nothing bad. We're just happy that you're okay. Why did you try to get in front of him? You know you're unwell."

"I just... I saw he hurt you. I couldn't help it."

"That's alright. You need to think before you act, okay? It's fine. Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, just scared. I don't want anything to happen to you guys. You... I can't let anything happen to you two."

"Nothing is going to happen to us. We're all going to be okay and move on with our lives."

"Good. That's good."

"Thank you guys so much. I would've been in a lot more trouble if you hadn't come," I bow politely, grateful for them helping us.

"Honestly, you should thank Felix. He's the one who panicked when you hung up. He found you. We just did the heavy lifting."

I smile at my best friend. He was currently standing next to me, clinging onto me since I scared him so bad.

"Thanks Lixie. How did you find me? I didn't tell you where I was."

"Our tracking app."

I gasp, suddenly remembering. "You little shit. I told you to delete that. It's creepy."

"Listen, I just saved your LIFE," he glares back, holding back a smile. "You owe me dinner and a movie. Maybe even more. If you say no, I'll hit you. I'll do it."

I laugh. "A day with you is fine with me. Even if my wallet will suffer. Anything for my savior."

"You guys are so cute," Changbin abruptly says, grinning widely to himself.

Lix and I both look at him, grossed out.

"What! You guys are like best friend goals."

"Who taught you that?"

"You did!" He points at Felix. "You and your dumbs memes. Trying to hide that you taught me that. S-M-H My head."

"Shaking your head your head?"

"Yes."

"Anyway," I clear my throat. "We should get going. By the way, where's Seungmin?"

"Working."

"Someone should probably fill him in."

"Eh, later."

"Okay," I smile. "Thank you guys again. I'll text you the date of our date, Lix. See you." I wave, walking out of the apartment with my boys behind me.

"So," Chan starts when we reach the elevator. "What now?"

A deep feeling reaches my gut, pulling me away from my happy thoughts. I clench and unclench my jaw. When I look up at them, they just stare back.
