Now that Derek had completed his mission he wondered where he would be led next. Not having to worry about anyone anymore he had no idea where to begin.

Sudenly a bullet flew straight through the air right at him. He leaped to the side, and it missed him by a foot.

" Haha, your going to have to do better than that if you want me dead," Derek responded looking the shooter straight in the eyes.

Just before Derek could go after the shooter the bullet hit a wall a bit behind him creating a small black hole. But suddenly the hole started to expand, growing wider and wider. Derek lost his balance and started to slip towards the hole. He dove and grabbed a nearby tree. Everyone else including the shooter had run off sceaming at the top of their lungs, " there's a warlock in our midst, run, save yourself !" Just as they had all disappeared from view, Derek lost his grip and fell into the abyss.

Ailiyah was on her way back to Airen's castle. Her black leather boots slogged into the deep mud and she sighed slopping her way through the marsh. It had been a hard day and she was exhausted. There was no way she was shadow traveling on a day like this. Suddenly she heard a crash a few yards away. She straight away sprinted toward the sound. When she reached the area where she heard the crash, a black hole was sucking everything in its path. Ailiyah started to run hoping it wouldn't be to late. But soon she fell to the ground and was being dragged towards it.

" Whyyyyy. . . . . . . . Whyyyyyyyy . . . . . . . . . . why me, " she screamed as she got closer to it every couple of seconds.

Before she was inclosed into darkness a ghostly voice said, " You have been chosen, only the strong will survive, good luck."

Then she was surrounded in a wall of darkness full of silence.
