Ailiyah's head ached and all she wanted was for the sun to stop blaring at her eyelids. Groaning she opened her eyes to find herself lying on her back in a bright completely white room. She got blearily  to her feet and scanned her surrondings. There was a round glass orb suspended in the air to her left. In it she saw pictures coming one after another of people lying in forests, fields glades and such, fast asleep.

Suddenly the pictures in the orb changed. There it showed a figure of a man. But she couldn't see his face. He was shadowed in darkness. "Hello." the man said in a surprisingly friendly voice as though they were out having a picnic or something.

She stared at the figure highly confused. Something was going on here and she felt highly mental staring at a floating orb.

The orb sighed. (Seriously could that sentence get weirder?) "I am sure you are confused," the orb continued. "But it will all make sense when you continue along."

"Continue along with what?"

"You'll figure it out. I'm just telling You because I like.  I guess you could say I'm rooting for you.  So I would listen to me very very carefully.  Run and trust no one."

And with that it faded black again.

Ailiyah was lying face up in a fresh green meadow. Remembering what the figure had said she bolted upright. Her black clothes would stand out like a laugh at a funeral. She leaped agiley to her feet and scanned the clearing. It went on for miles. And she spotted no one. With that she took notice of her various bruises and started the long hike south hoping she would find something soon.
