Alright so a strange man walks up to Ailiyah in the middle of a fight in the middle of no where and says he's hungry. Trust him? Of course! All her basic training had about 300 reasons this is a BAD idea. But what the hey! To be perfectly honest she had no idea why she was trusting him. I mean heck he was even dressed strange and had a weird accident but for some reason she felt she could trust him.

He was young and quite honestly attractive. He was tall maybe 19 or 20 and seemed sure of himself. He had dark brown longish hair that flipped over to one side deep brown eyes and quite a large chin. He turned over his shoulder to grin at her and started to talk.

"You know to be perfectly honest I don't think I'm supposed to be here. I was dragged in on a lift rip and it seems that the quality diameter of the tritometer......" He continued on for a while but she was getting quite confused. Only a couple words like pocket watch and flying made sense to her. The other guy seemed just as confused as she and kept on shaking his head in bewilderment.

Finally after taking no more of such nonsense, Ailiyah interupted him. "Your making no sense- what was your name again?"

"John." he responded good naturedly. "John Smith, and you are?"

"Ailiyah, but-" "And you?" John cut in casting a look at the other man.

"Derek but-"

"Well Ailiyah, Daren-"

"It's Derek."

"Yes well anyway if we want to find our way out of this splendedly vast and endless place I do suppose that we should find shelter for tonight. You see there are probably all kinds of creatures and nasties around here and we should get out of the way if we don't want to get eaten."

Suddenly out of the bushes crawled a young child maybe two or three years of age. She was quite pretty looking with bright rosy cheeks, sparkly blue eyes and chestnut colored hair pulled back into a little knot. She looked up at them with huge eyes.

"Are you lost?" Derek said kindly stepping toward the child.

"Derek stay away from it." John said in a firm voice glancing uneasily at the child.

Derek turned to John in exasperation.

"She's just a little-" but before he could finish the girl sank her unnaturally sharp teeth straight into his arm.
