Derek's whole body was shaking, and he could feel sweat dripping down his brow as he thrashed on the ground. Everything was silent, as he watched Derek blankly, shrinking the gap between them.

"don't come near me . . . . . . . . I'm warning you," he whispered shrinking into the corner.

"hahahahahah, bro you totally read my mind," Colter joked, his smile stretching across his face.

Derek laughed again whole heartedly, "alright it's your turn dude, and no backing out this time," I said teasingly punching him in his arm.

Colter walked away till he was a good distance and froze. Slowly he turned towards Derek with frightening, gold eyes.

Derek shook his head groggily as the sun shone in his tired eyes, and streched his arms above his head.
This was the first time in weeks that I've had a dream of my past, before I was sucked into . . . . . well . . . . . . . all this." He thought quietly to himself.

Yesterday, after they'd reached camp Derek had to work with "all brain and no muscle" John to collect firewood, make weapons, and build a place to sleep while, lucky Ailiyah, just had to prepare a late dinner.
Then he fell fast asleep as soon as he hit the ground.

Derek was about to wake up the others when he noticed Ailiyah's, and John's vaccent, tossed bedding.

Just then John came sprinting over, red faced and huffing. Before Derek had a chance to speak John beat him to it.

" What are you still doing here?" John said still panting.

Derek looked at him questionably, a crease wrinkling his forehead.

" they came for her, don't you see, " John said wided eyed.
He sighed after receiving a blank stare from still groggy Derek.

" Come on I'll explain to you on the way to a safe place." John said annoyed about how little he knew.

Derek didn't argue as he helped John pack up camp, took the tent and dispersed the fire remains.

Derek and John walked for a long time before they finally stopped to take a break. By that time Derek was covered in sweat, and bites from mysterious insects. Although the trip was difficult John managed to keep his, ever so annoying, smile through it all.

Derek slumped on a rock close to the stream they were by, and rested his face in his hands trying to relax his aching muscles.

"How much further John," Derek asked still red faced and exhausted.
Derek was answered with silence. Slowly he lifted his face from his hands and found himself all alone. John was no where in sight.
