None of us could stay awake during class the next day. Ms. Mackay tried her best to keep us awake but it wasn't working.

"What is up with everyone today?" She asked, throwing her hands on her hips while furrowing her eyebrows.

"Caption blood threw a last minute practice at us last night after our game, let's just say we did more laps then actual practice." Averman said while yawning. Ms. Mackay looked at us in shock. She didn't expect that from Bombay. None of us would've expected that before last night.

"Well, you will all go back to your rooms and rest. You aren't prepared to practice if you can't even stay awake during class." Ms. Mackay said. She walked over to her stuff and grabbed a folder. She collected all of our papers and sent us off to our rooms to get rest. I love Ms. Mackay so much. We are so lucky we got her as a tutor. I heard about other teams tutors being worse then their coaches. I couldn't even imagine that.

Julie and I walked into our room and collapsed wherever we could. Falling asleep almost immediately. I wrapped myself in a blanket, I hadn't even taken my shoes off. Gross.

We were on a football field a few minutes away from the hotel, we had a game against Germany today and decided to do some conditioning. We hand't seen Bombay all day. He was probably mad that Ms. Mackay canceled our practice yesterday.

I wasn't really paying attention to what they were saying until I heard Dean say, "Speak for yourself, babe"

I looked up at Julie. She looked shocked. I stood up, I was angry. What was wrong with him. "Her name is Julie not babe!" I heard Adam say. He walked over to Dean.

"Don't tell me how to talk rich boy!" Dean yelled while shoving Adam. He stumbled back, once he regained his balance he tried going back at Dean. I grabbed his arm which didn't stop him from trying to go at Dean.

"Yo Portman chill!" Fulton yelled. Everyone was in a circle now, trying to go after Dean. All of a sudden some kid, who I had seen at some of our games, showed up and started yelling.

"Ayo, team USA! What are ya gonna do today? A million jumping jacks?" he said, it didn't sound like a joke either. He was holding a helmet in one hand and holding the fence in the other. He was wearing a pair of skates, which I'm assuming is why he had the helmet.

"This kid's crazier then me, forget about him! Look Fulton!" Dean said, he turned back in an attempt to shove Fulton. That's surprising. They're like, best friends.

"Hey man I'm getting sick of you!" Jesse said once he managed to get out of the circle of shoving.

"And I'm getting tired of seeing USA being represented by a bunch of whiny babies!" The kid said while approaching us. I don't understand what he was talking about, sure we had some bad moments, but we were a good team. We were also winning, except against Iceland,  so I don't see what his problem was.

"Too bad you can't back up that mouth." Jesse scoffed. Throwing his arms out, he was sick of this kid more then anyone. The kid kept laughing at him in games, and Jesse has a short temper so he did not handle it well.

"Man me and my boys can take you anytime, anywhere." The kid said getting even closer. He was standing face to face with Jesse at this point.

"I don't see no boys!"

"I got 'em waiting, grab your gear and let's go play some school yard puck!" the kid said. At this point a security guard had seen him and started walking towards us. "Or maybe you forgot what it's like to play for real pride!"

"C'mon it's not too far ya little wimps." the security guard grabbed his arm and started dragging him backwards. The kid started saying stuff to the guard. Saying to get off him and stuff. "Come on you coming or not?"

Next thing you know we were standing in front of a group of boys on a basketball court.

"My little brother Russ here has been saying you guys have been chocking big time." an older boy said, looking down at the kid who was yelling at us earlier. I guess his name is Russ then.

"Well your brother has a big mouth!" Jesse snapped back. Great going Jesse, now these guys are probably mad. The older kid looked down at Russ. After a minute he smiled.

"He does, doesn't he." he said. Russ smiled and shrugged. We all did a sigh of relief. We thought we were about to get our butts literally kicked by these guys. "Anyways we called y'all here to see what you got."

"Yea we know you can talk to the president and sign autographs n stuff." Russ said. Looking at us.

"We can do more then that." Luis said with a nod. We all nodded in agreement. We could, in fact, do more then just that. We weren't here to talk about what we can do though, we were here to play.

"Oh yea? Well we can teach you to play like the real Team USA." the older brother said. Dean looked at him with confusion.

"yea what would you know about it?" he scoffed. The guy turned to the people around him and smirked. He dropped a red puck and we began.
