My alarm clock went off at 6:25 am Monday morning. It was the first day of school, I was kind of excited but kind of nervous. I shouldn't be nervous, all my friends will be there, it'll all be good.
I had laid my clothes out the night before, so I could have a little more time to sleep. A white t-shirt with a pair of wide legged denim jeans, and I got a new pair of shoes, a pair of white converse.
I quickly changed and headed to my bathroom to fix up my hair. I was debating on whether I should just straighten it, or put it in those two braids that I did a while ago. I think I'll just straighten it today. I grabbed my straightener out of the drawer and got to work.

I was done in like a half an hour, I liked it, I think it looked good. I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see my mom pouring a glass of orange juice. She nodded towards a plate of pancakes on the table and I sat down. My mom usually doesn't make me breakfast so that was nice.
"Thanks mom!" I said as I started eating. They were delicious, I poured a small amount of syrup on on the pancakes and cut them into nice squares. I finished quickly and put my dishes in the dishwasher, there was a knock at the door. I went and opened it, it was Julie, she got to start staying in her dorm room yesterday but promised to leave campus so we could walk together. I love Julie, she's the best. We were going to meet Ken on campus, Adam was going to skate with most of the team. I ran upstairs and grabbed my backpack and a zip up hoodie. I ran downstairs.
"Bye mom I'm leaving!" I yelled as I walked out the door with Julie. I threw the zip up on and zipped it up halfway. I tossed my backpack over my shoulders, it was a little heavy heavy from all the supplies I had.
"I'm so excited! Hopefully people there are nice," Julie said, turning to me. She had a huge smile on her face. I wasn't sure if they would be or not, I heard they're all preppy. I'm not saying all preppy's are jerks but they have a reputation for it.
"Yeah, hopefully." I said, I loosened the straps of my backpack a little bit.

We were greeted at the campus entrance by Ken, Dwayne, Russ, and Luis. We had to go to the auditorium building because the dean was having a speech or something.
"Hellllooo ladies." Luis said as we all started walking. I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Oh hush Luis, find some preppy girls to talk to." Julie said as she elbowed his arm. I laughed. It looked like he hadn't even noticed, his head was turning to look at a girl who had passed us.
"Someone grew an interest in girls." I said and looked at him. He swiveled his head back and looked back.
"Your one to talk, Mrs. Banks," he said while laughing. I looked at him confused. "Oh come on, we all know you and Adam have feelings for each other. We also know that you kissed the day we all left."
"What?" I asked, how did they know, I only told Julie.
"Word gets around when something happens between players. You can never keep secrets with your team." Ken said. I looked at him and he shrugged.
"So what's your guys' like, couple name?" Dwayne asked. Everyone turned to look at me.
"What? No, we aren't dating." I said. Russ rolled his eyes.
"Oh so you just go around kissing your friends?" He scoffed. Jeez.
"So what's with the new coach, Orion right?" Julie said changing the subject. I kinda just zoned out after that. I didn't really care.
