Banksie// Adam Banks

Chapter 10

"Ooooo what'd you and Banksie do when we left." Julie said while winking, I laughed and threw a pillow at her.

"Nothing!" I said, she tossed the pillow back at me while fixing her hair. She looked at me, giving me the look saying she doesn't believe me. "I'm being serious! He asked me to hang out and that's all that happened!"

"Oh my gosh! Like a date?" Julie screamed, I jumped up and covered her mouth with my hands. I didn't want the whole team knowing we were gonna hang out!

"I don't know, maybe. If it is, it might be the only one. We came here to play hockey, not date." I said, I was serious too. Even if I liked Adam, I wouldn't date him right now.

"Woooowwwww okay." She said laughing. She crawled under her blankets. "What if it was Adam?" she said while winking.

"I, uh" I stuttered. She sat up.

"You DO like him!!" She yelled. Why was she yelling?? Again, I don't want the whole team knowing! Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I jumped up and opened it. Ken was standing outside.

It was Ken. "Do you want him to know you like him??" He asked. How did he know I liked him, how did Julie know? I didn't tell either of them! "Don't worry he's in the shower, so I don't think he heard you.

"Oh my gosh who do you like?" Connie said sticking her head around the corner. Connie was my friend, I could trust her. If Ken and Julie knew then I guess I would just tell her so she wouldn't have to figure it out on her own like they did.

"Adam, I THINK I like Adam." I said, chewing on my pinky nail. I took my finger out of my mouth and wiped it on my pants. I needed to stop, it's becoming a habit, a bad one.

"What about me?" Adam said, opening his door. He had a towel in his hand and was ruffling his hair to dry it. It was low-key really cute. I smiled.

"Nothing!" I said while pushing Ken out of the doorway and shutting it. I turned around and felt like I was gonna scream, an excited scream. I opened my mouth to but nothing came out. Julie raised her eyebrows with a wide open smile, showing her almost perfect teeth. Julie was super pretty, I'm surprised boys weren't all over her. But as I said, came here to play hockey, I think she agrees.

"Wait did u just kick Ken out??" She said jumping up and opened the door again. Luckily, Ken knew us and could tell that we would let him back in, so he was still standing out there. He walked in and sat on the couch.

"Okay just a heads up, Adam was asking me where you guys should go tomorrow. He really didn't expect you to say yes, so I don't think he had a plan." he said while laughing and scratching his arm.

"Ohhh wooowww," Julie said leaning back. "So it IS like a date?" she turned her head to me, messing up her hair on the bed.

"Nonono, remember what I said literally 5 minutes ago? Not here for boys?" I said giving her a look. We had JUST talked about this, she's like, recreating the same conversation. I laughed at the thought. 

"Whatever." She said rolling over, she yawned. "Ken, out, I'm tired and want to sleep in  peace. Last time we fell asleep in the same room you snored all night. I want peace, now out." she said. I laughed, I sleep like a rock so I didn't notice if he snored or not, I believe she was talking about the time the three of us and Adam fell asleep in Ken's and Adam's room. 

"See you tomorrow, good night." Ken said, he laughed while walking out of the room.

"Goooddd niggghhhhttttt." I said, I think Julie was already sleeping. He shut the door, I changed into pajamas and crawled into bed. It wasn't long before I fell asleep.
