it was a normal monday lunch for our protagonist.
it was eleven, lunch time. and like always, she was going to spend it on practice inside the gym, instead of eating like a normal person.
after changing out of her school uniform inside the club room, she was now wearing a loose black muscle tank top with a pair of ruby red sports bra underneath. she wore her black workout shorts as well. her feet were donned in white nike slides, while her basketball shoes were being carried by her left hand.
with her duffle bag slung over her right shoulder, she unlocked the double doors to the basketball gymnasium of niiyama girls academy.
she walked over to the locker room and changed out of her tank top- she just wore that so that she'd remain decent in front of the students who were having their lunch break, and of course, to keep the school's guard who was patrolling near the club rooms off her back about clothing rules. but everyday during practice, she usually keeps it off, and trains in just her sports bra. it was a normal occurrence, really. sure, there were usual gawks from her not-so-straight teammates, but they never mean it in a bad way.
her power forward, and co-captain amur hanuka once said, "ayo, cap, lemme tap that!" to her once, but quickly said, "you're my bro tho, so i don't mean it that way" with a chuckle after.
yep, hanuka was clearly gay. the rest of her team- with the exception of her- were either bisexual or lesbian. but they're all loyal when they have respective relationships. and they all take pride in that.
the compliments they shoot each other on a daily basis during trainings are more or less no homo, 'cause they're all bros here.
ymari stuffed her tank top inside her duffle bag before going back out to place her things on the bench.
she tied her hair up to a ponytail and started stretching, counting from one to eight and then backwards repeatedly inside her head. afterwards, she took a basketball from the ball pit and began doing her pre-game routine.
she dribbled the ball between her legs as she walked from end-to-end of the court. to onlookers, if ever there were any, it would look like the girl was so focused on what she was doing. but her mind that was occupied proved otherwise.
