COASTER A WAS QUITE SILENT. Not like it was ever noisy— the prodigies mostly kept to themselves except when banters would erupt between Reo and Kaibara. But this afternoon was different. The four members of the Prodigal Five and Arsenic were all out of the coaster, the former four having been invited for an interview, and the latter just going with them for the vibes.

That left Ymari alone in Coaster A.

And what does she do when she's alone?

Grin.

"How many people do I need to feed again?" Ymari blinked at the ingredients laid out in front of her, all having been bought the day before.

She cooks.

She recalls the male team having twelve members, but as far as she knows, only nine joined the tour, with the rest of them including the coaches and manager bailing because of school and work. There was only the Generation of Miracles, Kuroko, Kagami, Himuro, and Takao. It kinda sucked that Imayoshi, Sakurai, and Wakamatsu weren't around, she would have wanted to catch up some more.

As for her team, there were thirteen of them. Then there was the Prodigal Five and Asti. Then their drivers and Coach Inko who said she was gonna come for dinner and stay in Coaster B with the team.

So...

"31." Ymari blinked. "That's not a lot."

She vaguely remembers making lunch bentos for Inarizaki and Fukurodani before, and having no trouble with it. So this shouldn't be hard. In fact, she'll make sure to make a lot more than she's supposed to so they can have seconds.

She went to the living room and started playing music on the television that had Spotify premium on it, her playlist being a random one she just found. She then went back to the kitchen.

"You walked into the party, like you were walking into a yacht.."

Ymari opened the window of the coaster as soon as she stepped back into the kitchen, the afternoon air hitting her skin, a contrast to the AC. The exhaust fan hummed to life, helping to clear out the heat and steam that would inevitably fill the small space as she worked. It was going to be a busy evening; the mix of aromas from her cooking would need all the ventilation it could get.

The song You're So Vain by Carly Simon played softly from the radio, the upbeat tune setting a light mood as Ymari prepped the ingredients for the evening's dinner: shogayaki, karaage, yasai itame, and a spicy salmon sushi bake. She gathered everything she needed and laid it out methodically on the countertop.
