"IT'S WAY TOO EARLY IN THE MORNING FOR THIS..." Hanuka pouted as she walked in the middle of the group.
At eight o'clock in the morning, the Tokyo Olympics champions were on their way to a press conference. The Prodigal Five members, minus Seinaru, along with Arsenic, had already arrived at Itachiyama to start training the basketball team there, as had the men's basketball team. Apparently, the reason the boys hadn't been able to join the girls on their shopping trip yesterday afternoon was because they had their own press conference at that time.
"Did anyone give Cap her coffee yet?" Ichigo wondered aloud, drawing the attention of the group.
"Reo had it covered," Utsui quipped, making everyone glance her way. "She was also the one who made our breakfast."
Utsui recalls what happened earlier in the coaster of the prodigies— to make things simpler to describe, let's call it Coaster A; then Coaster B would be for Nippon womens', and Coaster C would be for Nippon mens'— when she knocked on their door at fifteen minutes past 6 o'clock in the morning. It was Kaibara who opened the door for her, already up and ready for the day.
"Oh, Utsui." The grape-haired giant opened the door for her, "Come in."
Kaibara was wearing a light purple dri-fit shirt, black basketball shorts with violet at the hem, and white socks underneath a pair of purple Giannis Immortality 4 EP basketball shoes.
"Reo's cooking in the kitchen— mind helping her out?"
Wow, that's new. Utsui couldn't help but think that perhaps Kaibara and Reo's relationship had turned a new leaf.
"She might end up burning the coaster." Kaibara snickered, making Utsui sweatdrop as she entered the coaster— definitely didn't turn a new leaf.
"I thought Ymari would be cooking." Utsui mused, walking into the living area with Kaibara following behind her.
"She's sleepin'." Belzin, who was sitting on the couch looked away from Bridgerton playing on the television for a brief moment. She was clas in a dark green dri-fit shirt, black basketball shorts, and white socks under a pair of dark green Curry Fox 1 'Happy Fox Day Alt' basketball shoes. "G'morning Utsui."
As you may have noticed, the prodigies call her by her first name, which wasn't unusual because when she'd been in the states, it's how she went as, not her surname.
"Ymari sleeping?" That's new. She'd normally be awake way earlier.
"She returned at 2 in the morning." A new voice entered the conversation, Klein was coming out of the bedroom area clad in her training attire for the day which was similar to the other two prodigies— a black dri-fit shirt that hugged her figure, dark blue basketball shorts, and white Nike socks under a pair of blue Curry 3Z 24 basketball shoes. She was bunking with Seinaru, with the latter at the lower bunk, so she felt the bed shift somewhat when she returned at the early hours of today.
