ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE. GF-FORHIRE
━━━━┅━━━┅━━━━THE STREETS IN TOKYO WERE PEACEFUL AT THIS TIME OF NIGHT. There were hardly any cars of pedestrians around, and the soft mumble of crickets was but white noise in the cold evening.
As her feet softly padded against the gravel streets, the protagonist couldn't help but sigh in content. This was the first time she'd had some time for herself in a while. Clad in a green oversized sweater, black sweatpants, some sneakers, and a knitted black beanie, Ymari Seinaru decided to go for a walk at 10 in the evening, when everyone in her coaster had fallen asleep after busying themselves in stocking the pantry with the grocery they bought, courtesy of Reo who'd taken charge.
The protagonist had looked up coffee shops that were open 24/7 nearby. Luckily, since the coaster was parked at ICS, it was close to the central business district. Upon looking on the internet, she'd found a café that was open, and she was on her way there right now.
Her phone buzzed, startling her momentarily before she took it from her pant pocket. She opened it and there was a message from Kenma, who bid her goodnight and said thanks for her time. While everyone was busy stocking the pantry earlier, she was playing a game while on a call with the Nekoma setter.
"That COD Mobile?" She remembers Kaibara asking earlier when the purple haired giant took a smoke break while stocking the pantry.
Ymari just nodded, and Kaibara took notice of an ongoing call on her phone, immediately understanding that the protagonist had someone on the other end. She offered Ymari the vape contraption she was holding, to which the girl politely accepted, one hand still pressing buttons on her game.
Kaibara's purple irises watched as the ravenette inhaled and released the vapor through her nose and lips. Ymari returned the vape immediately and went back to her game, and Kaibara took this as a sign for her to take her leave.
"You did a good job training the teams today— all of you." Kaibara heard Ymari say, making a smile tug at the corners of her lips.
"Thanks."
She sent Kenma a reply, bidding him goodnight as well while walking. Before she knew it, she was already stepping inside the coffee shop that she had looked up earlier.
Maō Coffee, the sign read.
She vaguely remembers the coffee that Bokuto bought her earlier, it had the same logo on it. She looked at the location on her Starmaps and as it turns out, she was in the café right in front of Fukurodani.
"Welcome to Maō Coffee, how may I— Shekinah-san?"
Ymari looked at the person behind the counter, and she was surprised to see familiar blueberry colored eyes staring back at her.
"Akaashi." She blinked in recognition. She then looked at the boy's attire— it was far from a café staff uniform, a dark blue sweater and gray sweatpants, which was odd considering how it seemed as though he works here. "You work here?"
The boy blinked, still shaken up that the girl he'd been thinking about for the past few hours was standing right in front of him. Was the theory of manifestation real? Law of attraction?
