"Serenity..." K whispered and my eyes fluttered open. I gazed up at his beautiful face. I must've fallen asleep while he was telling scary stories around the camp fire we made in the backyard. "Hm?" "Casie says it's too cold out here so she wants to go inside, ima go tuck her in you don't mind if she sleeps with us do you?" I shook my head and sat up and watched as he carried her into the house. My heart tugged as I imagined him carrying our son off to bed and tucking him in. Slowly I got up and went upstairs snuggling into my bed and under the covers, closing my eyes. A few minutes later after he had taken her shoes and coat off, I felt his chest against my back as he wrapped his arm around me and kissed my head, I sighed deeply. "Night baby" he whispered quietly before I fell asleep.
"See I told you she would just love you!" Emily smiled at me. We were at Starbucks after we had just got done shopping for the nursery, K gave me his card but I told him I was going to use my own money, that annoyed him and he wouldn't stop getting upset so I took the card with me but didn't use it. Casie stayed the whole weekend with us and we camped in the back yard and took her to the zoo and the movies. I loved it every time she reached for my hand and held it when she was showing me all the animals, she told me she wanted to come over next weekend too. "We had a good time." I said taking a drink of my chocolate milk. My phone chirped and it was a message from Kells.
Baby❤️: I'm home now, miss you.
I giggled and was probably smiling like an idiot.
Me: okay baby, we'll be home soon, I miss you too.
"What's the man want now?" Emily asked. "He was telling me that he's home... And he misses me." I felt my cheek burning. She grinned at me really big as we stood up and went home. I walked in and K was nowhere to be found but his car was outside. I went up to my room and found him passed out in the middle of my bed. I set my purse down and quietly crawled into bed next to him and snuggled up against his chest. His arm wrapped around my shoulders as he rested his other hand on my stomach. "I missed you and the baby today, how was shopping?" He asked as he pressed his lips against my forehead. "It was good.. We got a bunch of lion king stuff." He nodded and he lifted my chin and looking into my eyes,"you didn't use my card... did you baby?" I shook my head and he sat up, clearly frustrated. " why won't you let me take care of you and my kid? I can understand you getting upset when I want to buy you shit, but why when it's for my kid?" "K I saved up this money for something special... Please, don't be upset." He looked at me confused. "So you planned this? Did you want to try and trap me?" I smacked him across his right cheek. How could he ask me that? I thought he loved me. He knows I would never do that to him, hell I never even thought meeting him would get this far. "You know I didn't and never would try and trap you Colson." He cringed at the sound of his government name, I only use it in times when I'm serious . I saw instant regret of the comment he made on his face as a tear ran down my cheek. " Baby you know I'm scared... I'm 17 and pregnant by a 24 year old rockstar. I would never purposely put us in this situation. I was willing to get rid of it if that's what you wanted. We made the decision to keep him together. Why would you think I would think getting knocked up would trap you? You didn't get with Casie's mom once she was pregnant... The reason I didn't use your money is because I want to show you that I'm not here because of your money." "I don't have shit anyways." I took a deep breath. "All I want from you is for you to love this baby." "I do love the baby, you know that... and I love you." He mumbled that last part. "You love me?" He smiled and I watched his face turn red as he nodded. "Yeah, I love you Serenity. That's why I wanna take care of you... but your stubborn, Ms. Independent ass won't let me." He shook his head at me abd I leaned over and gave him a big long kiss.
"Bye baby." I whispered in K's ear and kissed his forehead, he groaned and mumbled "you sure you don't want me to go?" "Yeah I'm sure, get some rest while you can." He pulled up the blanket and snuggled against his pillow. " iight, love you." I smiled, "I love you too Kells..." I whispered as I closed the door and walked downstairs to find Dub and Slim passed out on the couches. I giggled and Dub woke up. "Where you goin?" "I have an ultrasound appointment." "K isn't going?" I shook my head. "No, I told him he could stay home, since you guys didn't get in til just a couple hours ago." Dub sat up and started to put his shoes on. "I'll go with you." He said as he stood up and grabbed his phone. I shrugged and went out to the car. "Would you like to know the sex of your baby?" "Can we wait until next time? The baby's father isn't here." The doctor nodded and I wiped the gel off my tummy. Dub helped me off of the table as the doctor handed me the pictures. I smiled and we left.
The boys had left except for K and Rook. K and I were watching a movie in bed together but he fell asleep. I sat next to him and played with his hair watching him sleep, trying to be careful not to wake him, but i did. "Oops I'm sorry." I grinned at him, he Smiled & stretched then rested his hand on my tummy. "So are we having a boy?" "I don't know, I told the doctor i wanted to wait unt you were there" "Oh, okay, thanks for thinking of me." I kissed his head. "You're welcome, Dub wanted me to find out now but-" "You took Dub?" He asked me as he was looking at his phone. "Well yeah, he wanted to go, he drove me." He sat up and started to put his shoes on. "Where you going baby?" I asked as I sat on my knees and started rubbing his shoulders. "Out." He said calmly as he shrugged me off. I looked at him confused. "Oh, well when i you gonna be home?" "Not sure." He said as he left slamming my door, a few minutes later I heard I heard the car door slam and him speeding away. His phone was buzzing on the night stand, I peeked over and saw what i knew would some day happen, messages from an unknown number.
