Chapter 13

Riley's P.O.V

I walked into class and sat next to Kian. I don't think the teacher noticed I was late but who cares.

"Hey Kiki"

"Hey Riley, why were you and Sam late?" he said with a smirk on his face. I playfully hit his arm. We chatted away until the bell rang and I left Kian to go to my next class with Sam and a few of his other friends.

"Go Sam, Go Sam!" I heard a bunch of girls chanting. I decided to have a look and saw Jarrad and Sam have a one armed push up contest.

Eventually Jarred gave up and Sam won, of corse. Sam saw me and got up and ran over to hug me. I glad fully dodge him. "Hey, what was that for" he said to me with a disappointed look on his face. "Your all sweaty Sam" I said back to him. "Well don't I get a prize" he said leaning in for a kiss. "Yes you do. A trip to the shower" Sam just laughed and grabbed me and started kissing me. Even thought he was all sweaty, it was cute.

"Everyone in class now!" The teacher yelled causing everyone to run to class. Except me and Sam. Instead he pulled me in the opposite direction. "Where we going Sa-"

"shhhhhhh" did he just hush me? "We're ditching Riley live on the edge" he said in a quiet voice. We went behind the bushes were we couldn't be seen. "But Sam won't we get in troub-" I was cut off by Sam's lips crashing into mine. To be honest I have never ever skipped class but I guess it wouldn't hurt to do it just this once.

Sam's P.O.V

"Pottorff out of there now and bring the girl with you!" I heard the principal yell. Shit we were in some deep shit. But I wasn't scared not like it hasn't happened before.

We hoped out of the bushes and I couldn't help but to burst out laughing. "You think this is funny Pottorff!" She said in a serious tone but I couldn't care less this was funny. Riley looked at me like I was crazy but in the inside she wanted to laugh to. "Actually miss I do" I said back to the principal still laughing. "Maybe a phone call to your mum might change that." I immidently stopped laughing. If mum knew I got in trouble for this I would be banned from seeing Riley and that isn't going to happen.
"And who may you be?" The principal said to Riley with he hands on her hips.

Riley replied in the faintest voice "Riley Turner miss" she said looking down at her feet.

"Both of you to my office now!" She yelled and we both starting walking to her office. When we got around the corner I started laughing again. I couldn't help myself. I stopped and looked at Riley, she wasn't laughing. "Why aren't you laughing Riley" "Cause it isn't funny Sam" she said almost starting to cry. "Riley don't act weak, thats what they want you to do just act like you don't care." She nodded and we continued to the office.

**In the Principals Office**

We were waiting for about 20 minutes til we got called in. "What am I going to do with you Sam? And Riley this according to your records is not like you. I'm sorry but Riley I am going to have to call you mum and tell her and you will also be getting a suspesion and-" "Riley mums in Australia" I butted in. "Well I guess when she gets back I will talk to her but Riley you will be suspended for a week and Sam suspesion-" "Sounds awful miss but I will take the pushnisment I deserve" I said putting my arm across my chest pretending to try and keep strong. When I actually couldn't give a crap.

"NO! POTTORFF THIS ISNT A GAME. IM NOT GOING TO HAVE YOU PLAYING ME. IM CALLING YOUR MUM AND HAVING YOU EXPELLED!" She said standing up and her face going red. "Miss please don't do this I promise to be good and never doing anything bad ever again." I said now on my hands and knees. "Too late Pottorff, you should of thought of that before you decide to skip class and make out with your girlfriend" she said and got up and left.

Riley's P.O.V

Sam just sat there shocked. I wanted to say something but didn't know what to say.

"Hey Riley lets go to the mall together this afternoon" he said like he was almost about to cry.

"Why Sam?" "Cause before my mum stops me from seeing you, which I won't let happen, I want to take you out and get you something nice" He said and grabbed me arms so I was looking straight at him and into his chocolate brown eyes.

"Sam you don't have to" "But Riley I want to" I decided just to give in "Okay" I said and we both smiled. "I'm gunna text Kian and Jc to see if they want to come too." He said as he pulled out his phone. About 5 minutes later I saw 3 people walk in:

Mrs Pottorff
The Principal
& my Dad.

Why is my dad here he lives like 2 hours away. "Dad why are you here?" To be honest I didn't want to talk to my dad I hated him he had a drinking problem and a gambling problem. I have never been abused or anything I just don't like him "Riley get in the car now!" He yelled and point out the door. I got up and walked away. I stopped for a minute to text Sam:

"I'm sorry for the trouble she caused and I'll keep in contact with you Mrs Pottorff" I heard my dad say. Fuck was I in trouble.
