Chapter 18

James's P.O.V

"James?" She looked at me in shock "what are you doing here?"

"I got transferred here for 6 months what about you?" I said to he with a cheeky grin.

"I moved here with my mum until she goes back to America" she hissed back at me. "Look Riley I am so sorry for being a dick and leaving you at the concert. I know what I did was wrong but will u forgive me please" She crosses her arms and rolled her eyes at me and replied with. "I guess I could forgive you but you have to earn my trust again." I nodded and gave her a hug. "So can I join you on your run" she nodded and we continued running and talking.

Riley's P.O.V

We stopped into Starbucks and got a coffee. Luckily Australia had a Starbucks but the only bad thing is they had no Taco Bell. Like dude get me some Taco Bell.

Catching up with James was amazing. I hadn't notice how much I missed talking to him. We finished our drink and had a race back to mine. He won, sadly but next time I'll beat him.

"I win what's my prize Riley" he said to me "Next time Starbucks is on me" I said back he laughed "or you could just" he said and starting leaning down towards me and before I knew it his lips crashed into mine. I missed kissing someone. I wanted that someone to be Sam but instead kissing me was James. We stopped kissing and we said goodbye and parted our separate ways. I ran upstairs to my bedroom and screamed into my pillow.

I just techincally cheated on Sam I mean we never officially broke up and I didn't want to break up with him. He was amazing but I just cheated on him. Do I tell him or not. What Sam doesn't know won't hurt him I mean the kiss didn't mean anything.

**The Day before Riley's Birthday**

Sam's P.O.V

"I'm gunna miss you guys" I said to the guys before I boarded the plane. "Say hi to Riley for us Sam!" they all yelled "I will!" I yelled back and ran to the boarding gate. I checked in my head that I had everything. Riley's Present. Check. Clothes. Check. Condoms. Check. Riley's G-String she left at mine. Check. I had everything and I was ready to leave.

**Next Day**

The plane trip seemed like forever. I got off the plane and caught a taxi to Riley's place. I can't wait to see her reaction when she sees me.

Riley's P.O.V

I woke up to bacon and eggs and James beside me. I asked him if he could stay the night so I could be with him when I woke up and he agreed. Now before you jump to conclusion. WE ARE NOT DATING. We cuddle and he kisses my forehead but Sam is the only one for me and always will be. "Morning Beautiful" he said to me in his raspy morning voice. It remind me of Sam so much. "Morning" I replied and he kissed my forehead.

I ate breakfast and got dress into a Nirvana Shirt and Black Skinny Jeans. I then put on some black sneakers and straightened my hair. I looked in the mirror and I thought I looked okay and I went downstairs to talk to mum and James.

I went downstairs and I heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it" I told mum and got up to answer the door. I opened the door and I saw the last person I suspected to see there. They one and only Sam Pottorff. I smiled and he dropped his stuff and I jumped into his arms. "Riley you look amazing" he whispered into my ear. "I missed you Sam" I whispered and start crying. "I missed you too but hey don't cry" he said to me and look at me in the eyes and grabbed me by the shoulders. "Why Sam they're happy tears."

"You know I don't like crying it freaks me out will you just smile for me " I did as he said and just laughed. We were inturrupted by James "Riley whose at the door?" James came and gave me a hug from behind. I could see the jealously in Sam's eyes. "James this is my boyfriend, Sam" he immediately let go and looked at me "Boyfriend?" "Yes boyfriend" Sam said and kissed me on the check. "Honey whose at the door-" she stopped as she saw it was Sam.

"Hello Mrs Turner" Sam said and waved. I looked at her and mouth 'please just for today' she nodded. "Riley why don't you take Sam to the Spare Room. So he doesn't have to stay in a hotel." I clapped and nodded. "Did you hear me Riley SPARE ROOM!" "Yes mum I heard you the first time!" I yelled back and giggled. I took Sam into the spare room and he opened up his suitcase and turned around. "I've missed you so much Riley" "Same" I said back with a smile. "I believe this is yours" he said and pulled out the g-string. "I left it there for a reason Sam but thank you for returning it" we both giggled.

I snaked my arms around his neck and kissed him. It was amazing. I felt like I was on cloud 9. Best birthday present ever.
