Chapter 23

Riley's P.O.V

While Sam was talking they covered my mouth and took me away. They took me around the corner and shoved me in a car and put a sack on my head so I couldn't see.

When we arrived they took the sack of my head and put me in a room. I sat in the room for a while until 2 people came in. They kicked me in the stomach and left. I slowly just feel asleep.

Sam's P.O.V

I came home and just headed straight to mine and Riley's room. "Where's Riley?" Jc came in and asked me. I wasn't going to tell them him the truth so I just said she went to a friends house. He seemed to believe it and just walked out.

**The next night**

I meet Jarred where he said to meet. I waiting for about 10 minutes before he arrived. "Hello Sam" he said in a cheerful tone. "Where is Riley?" He clicked his fingers and 2 guys came with Riley. "Let her go" I said to Jarrad. "Sure" he let her go and she started running towards me. She jumped into my arms and I hugged her tightly and she did the same back.

When I looked back up Jarred and his gang were gone.

**At home**

Riley's P.O.V

"I will never ever let you go agian" Sam said and kissed my forehead. "Okay Sam you have said that like a hundred times already" I said and stood up. "Fine then want to go to the beach?" He said to me and grabbed my hands. "Sure" I said and went to the bathroom to get changed I grabbed out my bathing suit and put it on. I looked in the bathroom and saw a big bruise on my stomach. "Just mood swings you know girls" Sam said with a smile. "Are you serious Sam you yelled for that." Ricky said and they all walked out of the room and Sam smile faded.

"I want answers Riley" he said and looked at me in the eyes. I told him everything and then let go of me. "He's dead." Sam said and turned around. "Wait Sam before you leave can I ask you something?" I said in a quite fragile voice. He turned around and faced me. "Sure" he said with a smile.

"What was Jarred talking about?"

Sam's P.O.V

I considered lying to her but that would just make it worse. But if I tell her it could ruin our relationship.

"Uh- well Riley before I meant you I used to do some bad stuff" I said to her then continued. "And a bit after I meet you I continued to do some of these bad things but after a while I stop cause of you. You made me realise that I shouldn't do these things." I said and grabbed her hands.

"What sort of bad things Sam" she said with a crack in her voice.
"Well I used to ummmm well smoke weed" I said to her and instantly felt bad. She nodded and walked into our room and put a t-shirt and shorts on. I stood in the doorway and watched her.

"Hey Riley, are we okay?" I said and she looked up at me. She didn't say anything. She just headed towards me and gave me a hug.
