For over four months, the Hermanns and the Willams fought. Victoria never went back, which was nice because she could focus on school and work. After days of fighting and the Williams throwing fits in front of the judge and mediator, court came to an end, with the Williams getting nothing at all. They pretty much fell off the face of the Earth afterwards, which was very much welcomed by everyone close to Victoria.

"Max was throwing a fit this morning because you got out of school before him." Mariska spoke as she helped her daughter with a load of laundry.

"Max always throws a fit. It's part of him being a teenager." Victoria replied.

They folded laundry in silence before Mariska looked at her daughter.

"So, I heard you talking to Emilee last night." Mariska sighed.

"I did talk to my best friend last night. We are still planning that trip to see Harvey this summer." Victoria replied.

"Okay, but I heard you talking about moving back with her." Mariska replied softly. Victoria turned and looked at her mother and frowned.

"Mama, we were only talking about me moving back home. Is that a problem?"

"Well, I don't like the idea of you leaving. We all really like having you here. I especially like having all of my kids under the same roof." Mariska spoke.

Victoria smiled before stepping forward and hugging her mother tightly. They hugged for several moments before Victoria stepped back and tucked a piece of hair behind her mother's ear.

"Mama, we didn't decide if I'd move back or not. Emilee might move out of that apartment if I don't move home, because she can't afford the rent without me. That is why I have been helping still. But I guess if you begged me enough, I would totally consider staying here." Victoria grinned.

"Really?"

"I said you'd have to beg me... maybe bribe me a bit. I was thinking of a new car. Maybe a huge allowance." Victoria teased. Mariska quickly grabbed a towel and swatted her daughter with it.

All the kids ended up out of school a few weeks later, and a family vacation was planned. Usually they'd go to some country in Europe or to a place where they could swim in a warm ocean. But instead, they decided to plan a trip to visit Harvey instead. Peter decided to plan the trip down there so he could cover the cost for Emilee and Victoria.

They got a hotel in Valdosta, so at least they were close enough to the base for Harvey to be able to see them after his workday ended.

"Mama, I'm fine. You guys can drive to Disney, and I'll stay here with Emilee. Harvey is going to come over on his lunch break, and tonight we will be going on a date. Em and I won't be alone the whole time." Victoria spoke, before waving at her mother and shutting the hotel door on her mother.

"She's really worried about having us staying here alone." Emilee sighed, and Victoria nodded.

"She's protective. My dad is the same way. I love that they are like that, because it means they actually care enough to worry about me. I can remember staying at your house and I wouldn't even get a call from my moms. It's a nice change." Victoria replied.

The girls went and got breakfast before getting ready for the day. Victoria got into one thing, but Emilee insisted that she changed because they were clashing or something.

Harvey showed up for his lunch hour and he quickly pulled his girlfriend into a hug. They had seen each other the day before, and the day before that, but they hated to be apart. And he had missed her overnight.

"You can only stay for like fifteen minutes before having to drive back." Victoria frowned as she rested her head against Harvey's chest.

"I know, but I needed to see you. I hate that you are so close, but can't be with me all the time." Harvey sighed as he rested his cheek against Victoria's hair.

"Is everything okay?"

"He just misses you, Tori. I don't understand why, though. You are so annoying." Emilee teased. Victoria rolled her eyes before looking up at her boyfriend.

"Are we still going to hang out tonight?"

"Yeah, but I don't think we can do a hike. We should still go and hang out, maybe get some dinner."

"It sounds good, Harv. But now, I think that I should walk you outside. We can kiss a bit, but then you gotta head back to the base."

"I really wish I didn't." Harvey frowned, and Victoria sighed softly.

"You dreamed of being a member of the Air Force, baby. Eventually we can be together, you just have to pop the question and convince my parents to let us get married quickly." Victoria teased.

That night, Harvey got off of work and took his girlfriend to dinner. They spent time talking about everything they had been doing when away from each other. After dinner, they went for a stroll on the outskirts of town. The sun was setting, and Victoria couldn't help but stare at how pretty the sky looked.

"The sky is not nearly as beautiful as you." Harvey spoke as he stood behind his girlfriend.

"Harvey, I am already yours. You don't have to lay the compliments on thick if you didn't want too." Victoria replied.

"But I love you so much, and I'd like you to always remember that."

"Is something wrong, Harvey? Because if you-"

"I'd like you to turn around."

"Why?" Victoria asked, before turning around slowly. Her eyes went wide, and she looked Harvey over as her heart beat hard against her chest.

"Victoria Grace Hermann, around Christmas wasn't the right time to propose. Last month wasn't the right time either... but right now, I know that this is the right time for me to propose to you. I asked your parents, siblings, and Emilee... and they all said yes. So as long as you say yes too, then I guess we can be engaged and get married." Harvey rambled.
