Mariska made tea for herself and her daughter, as Tori was in the bathroom and washed her face. When she returned, Mariska patted the seat beside her and frowned.

"Tell me everything, Tori." Mariska frowned.

"I'm due in early June." Victoria breathed, because she didn't want to talk or even think about everything else that had happened in the last several months. She should be excited about having a baby, but instead she wasn't excited at all.

"Okay, but what else? Did Harvey hurt you?"

"It's my fault... Mama, I did this. I fucked up everything..." Victoria breathed before shaking her head as she fought off tears.

"Oh, sweetie." Mariska whispered before turning to her daughter. She pulled her into a tight hug as Victoria lost it.

"I'm so dumb! I thought he'd be happy, but he's so pissed off instead!"

Peter woke up sometime after midnight and found his wife's side of the bed was empty and cold.

"Rish? Where are you?" Peter yawned as he slowly walked out of his bedroom and headed downstairs.

He said his wife's name a few more times, before hearing her shush him.

"I'm in the living room, but keep your voice down."

Peter rounded the corner and saw his wife sitting on the couch, Victoria's head laying on her lap as she slept.

"What is she doing here? I thought she and Harvey couldn't come up this time?" Peter whispered.

"I think they are going to break up. She came up here because he's being an ass and not being very nice to her at all." Mariska frowned.

"Is he hurting her? Because I will go down and kick his ass."

"No, Daddy. Don't hurt him. It's all my fault." Victoria yawned as he opened her eyes.

"Kid, don't cover for him. Tell me what he's been doing."

"Can we just focus on the good stuff? Or what I assume you think is the good stuff?" Victoria sniffled.

"We can discuss the harder stuff later. After you get some good sleep. So go ahead, baby. Tell your father." Mariska replied.

Peter looked at his wife and daughter. He didn't like what was happening and hated that he probably wouldn't see the whole picture until later.

"I'm pregnant." Victoria spoke weakly.

"W-what?" Peter asked.

"That is kinda the same response Harvey did. But I don't know if you are going to be screaming at me for hours or just walk away because you are disappointed in me."

Victoria slept through all morning activities and breakfast. She only got up when she felt like throwing up.

"Tori?" Max asked, as he opened the bathroom door and found his sister on the floor. None of the kids knew that Victoria was home, so Max was very surprised to see his sister in their formerly shared bathroom.

"Hey, Maxy. Can you grab my water bottle?" Victoria whimpered.

"Y-yeah..." Max trailed off worriedly.

Once Max came back in and his sister had moved away from the toilet, Max finally got to ask some questions.

"Why are you here? Mama and Dad told us that you couldn't come up this year. Something about Harvey."

"Harvey and I got into a fight, so I came home. I'll probably be staying here for a while."

"What was it about?"

"It doesn't matter. Merry Christmas, bud. I'm gonna take a shower and probably go back to bed."

"You don't want to spend Christmas with us?"

"I do, Max. I really do. But I feel horrible and I just don't want to see Mama and Dad staring at me."

"Do you want something to eat at least? I can go and grab you something." Max offered, and Victoria shook her head as she pushed herself off of the tile.

"Nah, I'm fine. Thank you, though."

Once Max left the bathroom, he headed downstairs to find his parents.

"When were you going to tell us that Victoria is here? I just found her throwing up in our bathroom, and you two didn't tell us a damn thing." Max demanded.

Mariska turned around from the sink and eyed her son.

"Max-"

"Nope, don't sugarcoat anything or come up with a lie. Tell me why she came here after having a fight with Harvey.

"Your sister is pregnant and Harvey was being incredibly mean about it. She came here to get away from it all." Mariska whispered.

"She's having a baby? Why would they fight about that?!" Max said a hell of a lot louder than his parents wanted.

"Who's having a baby?" Hattie asked as she and Cassie ran into the kitchen.

"Uh..."

"I am." Victoria spoke softly as she came downstairs.

"What?" Cassie asked.

"I know it isn't something anyone wants, but it's happening. I'm sorry." Victoria as tears started to burn her eyes.

"Don't apologize about that baby, Tori. That baby is a blessing." Mariska spoke quickly.

"It doesn't feel like one right now. I have always wanted kids, especially with Harvey... but now isn't the right time. I don't think any time will be the right time." Victoria huffed.

"Don't get angry with us. We are just trying to help." Peter warned.

"I'm not trying to! I'm just so angry and sad! All I want to do is sleep and cry! If it hadn't been for my fucking morning sickness, the kids wouldn't even know I was here! I feel like a fucking disappointment, and it sucks!" Victoria cried.

Victoria needed to let everything out to start feeling better. She was so close to getting a hotel instead, but her mother convinced her to stay. Victoria felt a lot better being around people who loved and cared about her, compared to what she was getting down in Georgia.

"I'm coming!" Peter yelled as he walked from his office and to the front door.

Someone was being very impatient, and Peter was the only one in the house to answer the door and deal with the person.

"What?!" Peter exclaimed, as he opened the front door.

"Hello, Mr. Hermann. I was wondering if Tori is here?" Harvey spoke softly, and Peter sighed.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for my wife. We got into a fight, and she ran away. She packed her bags and turned off her tracking on her phone." Harvey frowned.

"I know that you two have been fighting like crazy for the past several weeks. All over a baby that you two have always wanted."
