Chapter 11

Chapter 11 : Fighting him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer.

I wake up and yawn. I sit up and feathers fall out of my hair onto the bed that is also covered in feathers. 

I laugh as I look around at the trashed room. 

The feathers are scattered, a chair and a table are overturned, clothes and covers are scattered around the room, and the canopy is on the ground.

But I sigh when I realize that Alec isn't in the room with me anymore. I wrap the covers around me and walk into the bathroom. 

I don't take a bubble bath since my hair is dirty from staying up last night and having fun. 

I wash my hair and body before stepping out of the shower and wrapping a towel around my body. I leave my room and see Jane.

"Hey, Jane."I smile. 

She smiles back. 

"So?"She questions. 

"'So' what?"I ask. 

"How was last night?"She rolls her eyes. 

"Magical."I sigh with a smile. 

She smiles happily. 

"Good."She says. 

"Why?"I start to look through some clothes. 

"Because I saw my brother this morning and he was smiling bigger than I've ever see him smile."She tells me. 

I look up. 

"Really?"I ask. 

"Really."She confirms. 

I nod and she leaves before I change into a shirt and a pair of jeans. I leave my room and bump into Demitri and Felix. 

"Oh, hey guys."I smile. 

They both smile deviously. 

"What?"I ask. 

"Oh nothing. Just, 'OH GOD, ALEC!' and 'ANGEL, MORE!'."They both mimic what Alex and I yelled out last night. 

I hit them in the chest before pulling my hand back. 

"Ow!"I say. 

I need to stop hitting these guys! They laugh before messing up my hair and walking off. 

I redo my hair before going to Alec's room. I open his door to see laying on his bed, eyes closed and a smile on his face. 

I smile and walk to him. He opens his eyes and pulls me on top of him. I laugh and look down at him. 

"Hey, Angel."He says giving me a kiss. 

"Hi, Alec."I whisper in-between kisses. 

I start to take off my top but he stops me. 

"Not right now."He says. 

I nod, agreeing with him. 

"I met up with Felix and Demitri in the hallway."I say. 

"Let me guess, they mimicked us from last night?"He questions. 

I nod. 

"How'd you know?"I ask. 

"They did the same to me this morning."He says. 

I roll my eyes. 

"Their crazy."I say.

"I agree."He laughs before kissing me. 

I stand and he does the same. 

"I need to go feed, my love. I'll return soon."He kisses me once more before he goes to the throne room. 

I go to my room and write in a notebook while waiting for the feeding to be done. 

After the feeding is over, I leave my room and once again run into Demitri and Felix.

"Hey Angel."They smile. 

"What do you want?"I ask slightly annoyed. 

"Just wondering if we could see your birthmark so we can tell if it was described just right."Felix smirks.

"How'd you know about my birthmark?"I ask. 

"Alec told us. He said your birthmark was the 'cutest thing'."Demitri rolls his eyes. 

"Alec told you?!"I yell angrily before I push past them and go to Alec's room. 

My birthmark is embarrassing and I don't like for many people to know about it. 

"Alec!"I yell. 

He opens the door, smiles, and leans in to kiss me. I push past him and he closes the door. 

"You okay, Love?"He asks. 

"No, Alec. I'm not. You told about my birthmark! I told you it was embarrassing!"I yell. 

"I just told Felix and Demitri. It's not a big deal."He shrugs. 

"It is to me! I told you I didn't want others to know about it but you told!"I yell. 

"You're making a big deal out of nothing! Just let it go!"He yells. 

"I will not let it go! I asked you not to tell but you told!"I yell back. 

"IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL! YOU KNOW WHAT?! I'M DONE WITH YOU!"He raises his voice. 

"SO, WE'RE BREAKING UP?!"I ask. 

"YES, STUPID!"He yells. 

"FINE!"I yell. 

"FINE!"He yells before I leave the room. 

He shuts it behind me and I run to my room, passing Jane, Demitri, and Felix in the hallway. 

I sit on my bed and start to cry. 

Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer. 

And there isn't. I can't stand to be near him. 

I know what I have to do. 

I have to sneak back to Forks.
