Part 5 of 5: Start Of Plane trip + Real Bad news + Last Minute Decision
Rocky's POV
We had about an hour and a half left until we left for Pogoren.
"I can't believe I'm leaving America for a month and I thought I was insane, I guess not." Bret calmly said.
"Yeah, you weren't crazy, we're doing this," Everest added.
I wanted to keep reading when I had a builder's class to attend, "Oh, I forgot! I have to attend the Builder's class, I'll be back in 30 minutes!"
"Welcome to Builders class, my name is Staff Sergeant Washer. Frank Washer."
I didn't learn much but it was something. I learned how to fix broken items like guns, gear, and tools of course.
"Wonder what's happening with Skye," Everest asked concerned.
"Why? What would happen to her?" Bret added.
"I just hope she's okay." Everest was very worried.
I entered the tent to hear the conversation.
"What's going on?" I asked politely.
"Everest seems worried, about Skye," Bret responded.
"Yeah, I can tell." I started wondering, does Everest like Skye?
I asked Everest, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Yes, please I want to do this," Everest told us.
We now had an hour left until we went to Pogoren.
"Plane trip rather than just flying into a nearby country?" Bret riffled.
"Hey, check this out." Bret looked at the TV.
"As you see right now, four teens are going to Pogoren." The news was on right now?
"Not now! Nor later." Bret seemed tense for the first time.
"You okay?" Marshall asked Him.
"No! Nothing is okay! Nick is dead! Chase is dead! What's next? One of us dies? Un-Fucking-believable!" Bret was angry, the angriest without action.
Now, we think Bret isn't ready for this. Anger, rage, Bloodshed, and death consume him. No, we need to force him not to go, but now I think we need him.
"You should stay back." Everest calmly asked.
"No! I need to go!" Bret shook violently and screamed.
He seemed to take Everest out of the tent, "I need help." He told calmly.
Marshall's POV
"And?" Everest responded.
"I just think, why am I doing this?" Bret facepalmed out of stress.
"You trying to steal my girl?" I stepped out.
"Marshall! That's rude! He's not!" She defended Bret because that's what friends are for right?
"Well, this is gonna be good." Bret kinda leaned forward to listen in, I shoved his face away.
"He's stressed, Marshall!" I started.
"He's taking YOU from ME!"
"Is this how you want it to end?! Our relationship! Right here! Right now!"
"Oh fuck! Okay! Okay! You win." I nodded, "You win".
I proceeded to walk back into the tent, giving Bret the bird on his way in.
